Correct and Voit after leaving St. Louis, of course when JD left the DAT didn't exactly exist the way it does now.
Plus Houston was in a completely different place in 2013/2014 than it is now and it didn't have Tyler White.

None of us.
And by none of us, I mean every single one of us.

I'm melting.
Because it's fricking hot outside though, not because of JD Davis.

All of them.
But he had been passed by on the depth chart. Yordan would figure to occupy DH for a while and we still have Yuli for another year. There wasn't a path forward for him in Houston. Plus he was hitting .224 in his 4th season at AAA. He had little value in a trade. So be it. We needed his 40 man spot

Reed had a shot.
He didn't take advantage of them.
It will take more than just showing up in his present form.
He will have to undergo some level of transformation like JD Martinez did.
I think Cabrera had a big part in that for JD.

JD had made the swing changes beforr/during the spring training when the Astros cut him but he didn't get a chance to play much. Tigers signed him and he had a big first few weeks in April before they called him up. Playing with Miggy may have been beneficial but he had already tweaked his swing before leaving the organization.

I need to know if Ted is getting any extended time at 1B.

I believe we are trading Ted for Thor. I'm going to post it into existence.

Ah yes, excellent point, very logical, 10/10 would still melt.

Syndergaard, multiple teams have contacted them to express interest, sources say. The cost for the right-hander would have to be high for the Mets to consider trading him.
quote:
Since the Mets have not committed to a full rebuild, they probably would need to acquire at least one Major League-ready starter for Syndergaard in order to justify moving him. A trade of Wheeler wouldn’t preclude the Mets from moving Syndergaard, too, since Wheeler isn’t being counted on as a long-term fixture in the rotation.
quote:
Some within the Astros organization are intrigued by the possibility of acquiring Syndergaard, a hard-throwing Texan who could replace Gerrit Cole in future rotations if Cole leaves as a free agent this winter. Syndergaard is earning $6 million this season and is due to receive a raise in 2020, the first year he'll be eligible for arbitration.
