What makes people think the Nuggets are more likely to win the title than Houston, GS, or Portland?
Same for the Jazz.

Rockets had a lot of injuries throughout the year and finished with the same exact record as the Blazers.
And also lost the season series to them.
I don't know why you act like it's some kind of insult that someone ranks the Blazers ahead of the Rockets.

I know it's hard, but your team as constructed didn't make it to the WCF, and also were not a 1 or 2 seed. Sorry that people don't think they will be better? That is trending down, not up.

Yeah and in one of those losses Harden didnt play and Carmelo Anthony started.
Because the Blazers have done nothing to prove they're somehow in a completely different tier than the Rockets.

No Spurs?
They might have the deepest team in the NBA

2 of you Lakers guys posted before anyone said anything.
There were more "woe is us" posts than anyone "eating that up"
The persecution complex is real.

Well the Jazz picked up Mike Conley and I guess people are thinking Mitchell is a star in the making but I’m not buying they’ll have any serious shot to win the championship. Denver I don’t get at all. They’re a solid team that might make it to the second round. Maybe they’re better than a good but not great Portland team next year? Maybe.

I hope fans put money where their mouth has been. Meaning I hope the ratings reflect. Curious to see how it all pans out. Should be some damn good games this year. Hopefully this makes the regular season all the more important and discourages tanking.

I would be surprised if anybody but the Warriors, Lakers, Clippers or Bucks won it. LeBron/AD and Kawhi/George combos are good enough to beat about half the teams on that list with three warm bodies out there. That’s both elite offense and defense between a pair of top-10 players for each team. The only other combo even close is Durant/Kyrie and there’s a huge defensive drop off with that duo.
