Look, to me it is apparent that you were just looking for some subject to use as a form of equivalency for whatever reason. So Ag, have you read John Fonte's Article re Transnational Progressivism; and if so, do you agree with the (his) stated principles of TP Ideology?

If you have not read this article ( it's lucid definition of the current Progressive Movement as represented by the Dem Party), then you are uneducated; and you should not expect there to be any civil discourse amongst uneducated people who simply bring passion to what is then little more than subjective ( or read as Egotistical) passion.

If you have read the Article, and agree with the stated TP Principles therin, and throw your political loyalty toward those (defined) beliefs and ends...then you should easily realize that being "triggered", goes much further toward describing what may well be the historical and painful processes which occur when polar, moral-based Ideologies clash for power.

I will be interested in your response, since you complain about people being "triggered" and not "open-minded" as opposed to offering positive critique toward much-needed solutions.

and, not for nothing, but as per usual, mmgrath completely missed the point.

Both sides obviously dislike shite done by the other side. And, quite often, the reasons are petty.

But, it's NOT EVEN frickING CLOSE when we start talking about the whole, "not only don't I like it, but I need to be protected from ever even having to see it" crowd.

Or the militantly "stop that guy from even being heard by people who want to peacefully listen to him" crowd.

THAT is where the left pretty much completely owns the landscape

There is no one, NO ONE that can have a civil conversation, discussion or debate on any topic anymore. I can't have a conversation with 2 of my best buddies, both who are hardcore leftists/libs anymore because it becomes a shouting match. I'm done with trying.

It was pretty memorable though. And I do credit some posters on here saying it wasn't a big deal in the face of threads calling for his impeachment over it.

As you can see, gthog still hasn't gotten over it.

Hell. It would be a rather simple exercise to just do the following.

Pick 3 random white folks to:
1. Wear Maga gear around Portland, San Fran, NYC, Seattle and Madison(WI)
2. Wear strongly pro-America, "don't tread on me" type gear
3. Wear something that professes Christianity to be the one true religion

Now. 3 random anything to:
1. Wear Pro-Obama, or Harris, or Booker or you name it to the 5 most conservative municipalities you can name
2. Wear some variation of America sucks gear
3. Wear something overtly atheist or, pro-Muslim or anything anti-Christianity

Do this multiple times over the course of a year.

Count how many times you have to replace people in group 1 because they got assaulted and put in hospitals.

End of test.
