A 2.4-acre tract of land near Baton Rouge Country Club has been sold for $1.3 million to a developer who plans to build a 13-lot subdivision on the property.

Homes in Brentwood Park will range in size from 2,000 to 3,000 square feet, with prices starting at $500,000. Development of the land is expected to be finished by the end of the year, with home construction set to start in early 2020.

“Homeowners are eager for custom options in this price range,” Pike said. “Given the level of interest we’ve already received, we expect these to sell out very quickly.”

More starter homes to raise OT larvae.

Sounds trashy. The bluehairs at BRCC can't be pleased.

It'll be really cool to open your window and reach across and borrow some rice from your neighbor's kitchen without leaving yours.

So a couple rows of town homes, basically.

13 homes on 2.4 acres? I live on 6 acres and wish I had more privacy. I don't see how people live like that. I guess if you grew up in those conditions then you don't know any better.

Who would do that anywhere near Baton Rouge. Not a sound investment

Less than .2 acres per lot. An this probably doesn't take in to account streets.

Sounds awful.

Canebrake Builders are one of the four/five builders that are allowed to build in The Preserve at Harveston.

Bo Fetzer (COO) of Canebrake and Wampold are the developers of Harveston.

Sounds like they are going to build Harveston type homes in there (similar price point, similar sq ft size, and similar lot size).

That developer just made a pretty smart move. That’s gonna be a sweet paycheck once all that is finished

Let's all throw in $20 bucks and buy a home there for our fearless leader, Poultry Boy.
Then we could have an official TD poker night.

Are the houses going to be built on top of each other?

Sounds exactly the same as The Preserve off Bluebonnet.
