Cockroaches evolving so quickly they might soon be impossible to kill with spray

A Purdue University study found that the common German species of roaches are being born with an immunity to toxins with which they haven't yet been in contact. The shocking study concluded the evolution of the cockroach develops an immunity to new poisons in as quickly as one generation of offspring.
Cockroaches are being born impervious to bug sprays and it's happening fast.

We didn't have a clue that something like that could happen this fast," study co-author Michael Scharf said. "Cockroaches developing resistance to multiple classes of insecticides at once will make controlling these pests almost impossible with chemicals alone."

Another reason Texas > Louisiana
I've never seen a roach in DFW, too dry for them or something.

Sprays never seem to do much of anything long term. The brown paste stuff always works the best. It’s just expensive and you have to get it from a Do it yourself pest control place

i'll be concerned when they start becoming immune to fire

It doesn't matter.
Roaches are just a fact of life. You will always have them. Even if you don't see them, they are there. Hiding. Waiting. Plotting.

Bengal still kills the ones in my house. Raid never did the job anyways

Boric acid tablets for the win. Just keep them away from children and pets. Cheap and does the job.

Flamethrowers and tasers then.

I bought a few of these and never seen a roach or any insects since I've been using them. I thought this shite was a scam but decided to try it and it works.

Let's see them develop an immunity to one of these.

I used to use these things as bait growing up on the Tangipahoa. I've caught some massive catfish with them.
