After dropping 3 in a row, the Astros take game 7 to win the series vs the Yankees 4 games to 3.

Sounds familiar.

I'll allow it.

Yankees take 6 of 7 from the Ray's and Astros, not a bad streak that Happ had to ruin

You deserved the series, but you couldn’t have caught us at a better time this year. Probably the same as when we had ya’ll in Houston earlier.

It took Alvarez doing it his way to break this slump.

Visiting fan bases complain about the Crawford Boxes, but how many “cheap” homeruns were hit to right in this series?

As I posted, the Astros dimensions are not much different than Yankee field. While Houston has the 30ft wall, Yankee Stadium is larger in essentially the gaps. So yeah cheap home runs in the corners but you have to work if you out one anywhere else because it is larger than Minute Maid

Alvarez is a stud, dude made me nervous several times and I knew Happ would give up a home run to him.
All streaks come to an end, both good and bad

All they’d have to do is raise one wall or the other, but both lines shouldn’t be like that.

Stassi’s oppo double the other night resulting in an out really exposes just how bad it is

shite like White going oppo and Frazier’s arse in dugout bat throw flick ending up several rows up is illegitimate

Classy, as always

Yankees offense is stacked. We’ll likely be in competition with each other for pitching help for the rest of the year.

I don't want to start another thread so I will express my sorrow in this one.

The Rockies just dropped another game to the Dodgers in the 9th inning. That's 11 games in a row we've dropped to them.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

I'm just hoping the Severino comes back and looks good and German can continue to grow. If both happen I don't have to worry about seeing Happ in the playoffs.
I don't know what is wrong with him that he has become horrible.

I watched it. I feel your pain. I find it easy to pull against the Dodgers, but there’s little doubt in my mind they will win the NL again

MMP is basically the same. These two parks play similarly. Pop-flies down the lines can be HRs, crushed fly balls with strong exit velocity can still die in the gaps.

Feels like we could see a Yankees-Astros matchup again in October. Though the Twins could have something say about that. But one team was beat up by injuries in both series. Would be nice to go head to head a full health.
