Ultimate: USC. 2003 still sticks in my craw, and I would love to see a game in the LA Coliseum before control demolition sets in.

I would settle for: Colorado. Not a blue blood, but it’s beautiful up there and although there Stadium is small, I think it’s pretty neat.

If we are going to home-and-home against a non-Power 4 team, we may as well play LA Tech.

USC top choice then any order - Arizona St (I’ll never forget the 2005 game), Notre Dame, Penn State, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan.

^This
With F-stick Jim Rome doing play by play.
Tampa had him in a 3hr slot and all the day long he would call USC nat. champs
I actually celebrated the Saints signing Reggie Bush because finally a former USC player actually stepped foot on the field where that particular NC was played and won by LSU!

I’d like to have a standing game with Texas every year.

You guys that say this know that USC actually had nothing to do with splitting the national championship in 2003 besides win just like LSU did right?

Nebraska. We’ve never beaten them. Our record is pretty dismal against them. Oh how the tables have turned.

Oregon. While not as good as they once were, Autuzen does look like a fun trip.

It’s amazing we’ve crossed passed with these blue bloods so seldom, never in the case of UM which is just crazy to me

Stanford

-upside:

they are typically ranked
we don't recruit the same athletes
it is in Cali so...exposure to recruits
San Fran, Yosemite, and Napa Valley etc

-downside: travel cost

The service Academies
(2 for 1)

Upside:

they are typically well coached
we don't recruit the same athletes
exposure to recruits East Coast / Mts
Visit Annapolis, West Point, Air Force

-downside: triple option

Nebraska

Upside:

they are a historical blueblood
Big 10 equals advantage to us
Lincoln = great away experience

-downside: potential recruiting

Rutgers

Upside:

we don't recruit the same athletes
NJ/NY so...exposure to recruits
NYC to visit

-downside: they suck

Northwestern

Upside:

they are typically pretty solid
we don't recruit the same athletes
it is in greater Chicago = recruits
Easy travel, Chicago

-downside: a challeging road game

Wisconsin

Upside:

they are typically ranked
we don't recruit the same athletes
Beer, sausage, and cheese

-downside: a game at Madison would be a major challenge

I would most love to do home and home with Michigan. Most other teams already mentioned would be great, too. I'll add Maryland for recruiting purposes.

Eliminate the hype early.
Detracts from the Ohio state too as once beaten mich not so important.

Oklahoma. Was on schedule but postponed due to adding tex Christian.
Thump those pretenders.

Tennessee. Instead of Ga southerns.
See pussy Bama non Florida schedule.
