Dahlkemper’s body
Her face though...
Doesn’t Hendrix have a team?

Exactly. Arkansas only has one division 1 program in the state and zero D2 and D3. How can we be expected to contribute at all to Men’s soccer in this country if there aren’t even options to play in your own state.

Football and men’s basketball are basically the only two sports that pay for entire athletic programs
With one notable exception: Connecticut.

I’m fine with the women being paid more than they are now.
Being paid as much as the men because they beat Thailand 13-0 in the World Cup is absolutely laughable.

Actually I think a few Women’s basketball teams actually make money
Think we did a few years ago that we won the title
Most of it coming because of the TV deal with espn

But couldn’t you say it also gained them supporters who wouldn’t have as well because of this?
You are right about this but those were people who would have supported them anyway but this did give them motivation.

Is it?
I feel like there are supporters now who wouldn’t have known about them had they not talked about Rapinoe or this money story

Here's an idea: If you win 13-0-the most goals for a single game in World Cup history-you should be paid at least equally to the men's team," Gillibrand, a New York senator, tweeted.
Logically speaking, this triggered the frick out of me when she first made the comment.

If anything it kind of supports the opposite opinion..

The organization bundles brand sponsorships and broadcast sales between the two teams, making it harder to distinguish the difference in revenue, the Journa sa ysl.
Seems like a pretty important point, not to be glossed over.
Key point that is also is left out is lost revenue on the men's side for not making the 2018 WC, which definitely played a major part. Should their salaries decrease because of this? Maybe? I don't know.

Soccer isn't the only sport with a pay gap. Well-paid women's basketball players earn low six-figure salaries, while the minimum NBA salary is just over $838,000. Superstars like Serena Williams and Lindsey Vonn have stated male players get paid more in their sport, no matter how decorated the female player.
The stupidity here is laughable. Tying player pay solely to accomplishments makes no sense. Tell me, if a WNBA team only brings in $500K (just made up that #) in revenue a year, and they win the championship, should they pay all their players over $100K and tank the team? Serena's a dumbass.
I'm all for them getting paid based on the money they are bringing in. Same for the men. I have my doubts though on the accuracy and transparency of the figures presented in the article.

But they have to spend more on replacing white shorts monthly, seasonal cleat styles, and separate travel and lodging accommodations because most hate almost all the others

You know who is really responsible for the pay gap?
Women who don't give a shite about female pro sports. Obviously men (and many women) turn up by the thousand to watch men play. We buy merch and tv packages and what not and these things fund the huge pay differential.
We're supposed to pay for women's sports too? How about directing some of that anger toward the women who decline to buy tickets for the WNBA or tune into games. If you deserve more money, convince your target demographic of it.

The USMNT isn't salaried by US Soccer like the women, so I don't see how they can get paid less when all their money comes from caps and wins.

Football generates the vast majority of all money the womens' scholarships are paid from. Title IX is fricked up, and I can't wait for the ladyboys to bring it crashing the frick down.

Yes I agree
I’d rather have more football scholarships than any sport other than men’s basketball at our school

Football isn't a men's sport though. Anyone good enough to make the team/get a scholarship is allowed to play.
