Pacers will send cash to Suns in deal, league source tells ESPN. Suns wanted to unload the three years, $35M on Warren’s deal to create space.

@BallThen

The reason there hasnt been a trade so far is because Griff is trying to put Fletch's bum arse in the deal and nobody wants to take him

@jgsiegel The Pacers will operate as a room team this summer and take Warren into cap space, which means they'll need to create the space to bring him in. The trade will go through on July 6 in the new league year.

Not sure if you're following Jeff Siegel or not, but he's really good in regards to cap stuff, and his website stays up to date.

Trade will not be finalized until July 6 when the Pacers will have room to absorb TJ Warren. Indiana will still have close to $31M in room after the trade (not including the Bogdanovic hold). Phoenix will have $21M ($29.5M w/o Oubre Jr.) after the trade.

You know, I could see the Suns doing something like that.

It's dumb, like a lot of the Suns moves these last few seasons, but it's the sort of dumb I could see them embracing.

Umm, that article literally says they have been receiving calls since before the trade deadline and have not tried to move him yet except for Conley or Aaron Gordon..

They keep getting calls about him, but havent been shopping him
