UFA or URFA.

UDFA are undrafted free agents.

I feel like the Sabres ruined it with Skinner.

The Caps don't have the space to make a splash in free agency, but if I were a GM, I'd be calling Anders Lee right now. In his last three seasons, he has 102 G and 63 A. There's not many players who have been more productive, and he likely cost you right around what Hayes got. Only he's a lot, lot better.

Then I'm looking into Jake Gardiner, who only is on the market because the Leafs are in a horrific cap crunch.

This isn't exactly dumpster diving, but avoids the bidding war on the Columbus trio.

My penis can only get so erect...

Finally, a stable owner with money. Last time this franchise had that? Never.

So Perry was bought out by the Ducks? I wonder what they do to that fake goon Getzlaf?

Maybe this will inspire another Arizona based team's owner to sell.

Nice return on investment.

He did get 5 votes for the Hart though. A second a couple thirds, a fourth and a fifth. Pretty dang crazy when you consider he didn't exist before January. But in terms of value, he and ROR should've been higher.

The only one I can't get over is Berube not winning. How doesn't he win.

Pretty shite in hindsight, but those were all voted early. If the votes happened today Blues win it all, deservedly. Regardless Blues have the only meaningful trophy

Voting took place between the end of the regular season and the beginning of the playoffs.

I don't know if I just don't get Canadian humor or if the people who did the writing for this just suck but I thought that was about the worst awards show of any sort I have ever watched. Especially the Kat Timpf after the Kathleen Turner diet impersonator screaming about every nominee for the Hart Trophy.

Hell, Binnington was like fourth for the Vezina. Here we were during the playoffs arguing about Binnington and Bishop and neither win it

Sure, but even without the Cup run.... how does Berube not win it? He took over a team in literal dead last in the NHL and guided it to a 99-point season and comfortable qualification for the playoffs. I mean, they didn't squeak in on the final weekend, the Blues were safely in for most of the final month of the season. Considering how f'n terrible they were... that's amazing. Berube got hired and suddenly the team won. Probably because he threatened to punch them (if you don't remember Berube from his playing days... oh my God, could he fight).

I'm happy for Trotz and I think he did a great job in Long Island, but come on... this should have been Berube's.
