That's pure sexy, right there.

Not a fan of any of those rims

911 should have Turbo Twists for wheels IMO.

Many of the Singer restos are north of $300k...!!

Yep. I thought about pulling the trigger on an air cooled about 15 years ago. Turns out it would have been one hell of a good investment.

Yep...I’m keeping my current “last of the line” naturally aspirated (not gonna trade it in).
In 15 years when hopefully a run begins, I won’t be saying “damnit, I should have kept it”...

Isn't time for a body style change?

I am a car and motorcycle fanatic. I have never owned a Porsche and I usually don’t care for most of the guys that drive them.
I prefer muscle cars, BMW’s, Jeep & Scouts, and any cool 60’s auto cross cars.
However, the two times I drove a 911, it was questionably the best driving experience I have ever had. They are in every way, the ultimate car experience. I am sure these new ones are just an improvement again.

For a little while I was seriously looking for a mint 14' for around 60K. Then I would want the S trim, and they go for another 10K.

It's one of those I will probably never afford but we can dream

The 911 truly is amazing despite its outdated configuration. Porsche engineers have no doubt worked wonders despite it all. The company is well aware of this, but Porschphiles would storm the Schwieberdinger gates should they tamper with history.

They've actually moved the engine quite a bit. Still in the rear, but much more in board than where they started.
The race cars are practically mid engined

They absolutely have... Just imagine what the Cayman would be if the engineers were allowed free rein.

I imagine about 50% of the OT will be going down to their local Porsche dealership and paying cash for one of these.
