This 100% If Twitter, as a private sector entity can decide on censoring free speech because they consider it "harmful" why can't another private sector entity like this Baker decide on what he considers harmful?
Why can’t either side be consistent on this issue? Twitter should have the freedom to ban any person and bakers should be able to refuse to bake any cake.

He's trying to equate this with what the big tech companies are doing.
Remember that bakeries aren't the only people that can make cakes

Win the lawsuit or have to pay all cost....this will slow it down

They should put a picture of Hilary Clinton on the cake and write happy birthday Satan on it

The baker doesn't aggregate any and all information from different sources on the individual and then assign arbitrary values in order to silence any opinion that individual may have?
See, that was easy.

Any truth to the rumor that Satan was having his birthday party at Laser Tag?
Maybe they could provide the cake.
Maybe they could provide the cake.

You did that well enough on your own

Correct, and Facebook and Twitter aren't the only places for people to voice dumb opinions and fake news and spam
There's always sandwich boards
There's always sandwich boards

You're confused.

I'm not even remotely joking when I say it's time for him to solve this with an AR-15.

What is that supposed to be in reference to?
Who are "they"?

They are not the same issue. You can't be a platform and get special protection and be a publisher at the same time.
vs
Freedom of religion

Your baker won't bake your dido cake? Bake it yourself
Facebook won't host your spam? Print your own flyers and hand em out
It's a real easy concept

Yup
Not even remotely.

Freedom of religion
This isn't actually the difference.
The difference is simple. One is a creative act which requires the creator to do the creating. IE, the baker can't tell the Satanist, "I won't make you a cake", but, the baker most certainly CAN tell the Satanist, "I won't bake you a Satanic cake".
No one in this thread actually believes their "like Twitter" argument. They've just pulled it from one of their lefty sites and think they have an "a-ha" moment.
But make no mistake. They don't actually believe it.

Baker won't make your dildo cake.........but routinely makes dildo cakes for everyone else.
Facebook won't host your spam...........but routinely hosts everyone else's spam.
THAT would be your comparison. As per usual. You won't admit your fail. But that's perfectly fine with me. I'm accustomed to the fact your a dishonest POS.
I should add.
Facebook doesn't have to CREATE anything for me to post SPAM on their site. It already exists.

It's strictly their discretion

It's sad that you attack somebody for having consistent views on the right of free association
You're an angry little guy
