what do some of y’all see in him that I’m missing? He shot 42% from the free throw line. Let this sink in, Shaw was a better free throw shooter then Ball
He's above average at everything else other than shooting.

And yes, he's terrible at free throws and below avg at 3s. But all he needs to do is get to average or even slightly below avg, and he'll be a good player.

Any way to get Tatum & Beal?

Trade Macine

Pels Gets: Tatum, Beal & Williams
Celtics Get: AD
Washington Gets: Brown, Smart & Hill and picks

Not likely, but a fan can dream.

Zion is a man child and thus he should be the youngest player on the roster. I don’t see any issues with him playing with 21-26 year olds.

It’s very likely he’s going to have rookie Blake griffin type impact and numbers (20/10+).

With that assumption, you want to try to make a run for the playoffs. He will be ready to kick arse by the time he hits his first playoff game, and having Beal and Jrue there with him will make the experience all the more wonderful.

If the Celtics were willing to trade both Js then this deal would already be done.

Pels: Beal, Ingram, #9
Lakers: AD, Hill
Phx: Ball
Wizards: Kuzma, Moore, #4, #6

They may still. They have time to posture and try to retain as much as possible while still getting what they want.

It’s a high-stakes game of chicken, and we’ll know once a deal is done who blinked first.

If the Lakers are even so much as able to get Washington to enter into discussions, Ainge could pull the trigger if he felt genuinely threatened by the prospect of a Wash-LA-NOLA deal with Beal heading to NOLA.

I won’t be shocked either way. I kind of have fan PTSD from the Demps era, and my expectation by default is that we’ll lose most trades we’re involved in.

Hopefully the new FO will change that perception.

I'd actually say Demps generally killed it in trades. It was FA signings and re-signings he got killed on.

How does Ball fit in Phoenix and is he worth #6? Seems like a good trade otherwise.

the comments in any Woj tweet give me AIDS. It truly reinforces how unbelievably awful any Laker fan is.

I’ve seen a lot of trade proposals, as I’m sure we all have, this one is pretty high up there. My gut tells me you have to swap Ingram and Kuzma, but selfishly I like this a lot

I will say this though, Woj having his first major tweet of the day (re: Valanciunas opting out) is a good sign that maybe things are going to start leaking a bit this afternoon.

I feel like these beal trades are such wishful thinking.

We all think ingram, zo, kuz and 4 is borderline or even out right not enough for disgruntled AD, but that the wiz would consider kuz, moore, 4 and 6 to be enough for Beal and a top 10 pick.

Why? Wizards are getting 2 top 6 picks and a trade asset in Kuzma and player one. Great contract in Moore.

They are going to suck this year with Wall out and no cap room flexibility because of it. That would be a great deal for them. Hell they could try and package the two picks to Memphis with a player to get Morant even.

I have a hard time picturing the Wiz trading Beal AND their number 9 pick. I think it's more realistic if they keep their pick, get the #6 or Ball (whichever they prefer) and the Lakers kick a future first round pick over to the Pels instead. But yeah I'd be happy to get their top 10 pick this year if it were on the table.
