What has he done to suggest he’s some try hard for fan support?

I think his biggest issue is that he was a bit of a cock when he was younger and the other two guys he’s compared to are all time crowd favorites. People may not hate him, but he’s often a distant third in likability. Just my theory.

Yeah, nothing beats Superbrat! Except for Connors.

I loved watching Mac play because he was an artist on the court and not this over-powering baseline crap...like Nadal who just roids up, loads up and spin-slams...and then picks his butt before every point.

Mac and Connors could not survive in today's game based on PC etiquette.

Nothing was ever Mac's fault, the Ump, the line judge, the crowd, etc.

But he was also just a kid...although he never really outgrew it. Still he was far more enjoyable to watch then the game today. He painted the court, it wasn't a military tank attack.

He was the Golden Boy like Fed now...

Mr. European nice and polite.

Connors and Mac were seen as the awful Americans.

You know how bad Connors was? Even Mac said he was a total dick.

Connors was probably the biggest a-hole in tennis history.

Mac was just immature with temper tantrums.

Wait... can someone explain this to me?! In what way has Rodgers EVER been a sore loser ...

Please give me a few examples.. some clips of him blaming something else for losses.. some people really say shite with nothing behind it because they don’t like a player. So I’ll be waiting for the proof of Rodgers being a sore loser.
