When Kareem went to the Lakers, did it cheapen their run?

They are not a dynasty yet. Why is that so controversial?

A dynasty should be competing for championships for at least a decade. The Warriors are not a dynasty. Never will be.

It’s an interesting discussion as to what constitutes a dynasty and what doesn’t. In the modern era I think you’d have to say they are but not a great one

Durant staying would make them a dynasty IMHO.

You can see the flaws in the Warriors. If Durant isn't there, a team with an elite wing can beat them.

They can match up the Rockets and blazers because neither have a wing worth a shite and gsw has the best guard duo in the league. Every time they go up against a meaningful wing and they struggle bus.

The Lebetard Show has a list of the amount times Pippen has contradicted himself on air. There was time where he contradicted himself 3 times on 3 different ESPN shows in the matter of a month.

The dude is legit uneducated.

So the Bulls never had a dynasty?

The Bulls competed for a championship from 87 to 99. Conference finals and championships. Maybe you don’t know what a decade means.

In 1987 the Bulls got swept in the first round as the 8th seed. In 1988, they lost in the 2nd round.

In 1999, they didn't even make the playoffs.

Their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance with Jordan was in 1989 playoffs.

Maybe you need to look up what a decade is.

ETA: Not to mention, they didn't make the ECF in either 94 or 95.

Scottie Pippen is talking crazy here. Durant joining may have made it "less legit", but no one is going to take away three out of four, and possibly four out of five. If the Warriors are not a dynasty, then the Bulls weren't and neither were the Lakers. The Warriors' 73-game win season is a part of a dynasty. Sorry, Scottie. I don't like KD either, but they are a dynasty, like it or not.

Would not expect any differently from Pippen. He would also rate Kobe over Lebron.

The Lakers were garbage when Kareem went there (mid-70s). He was the chess piece they rebuilt what would become a dynasty around. But that took years of personnel and coaching changes, good draft picks plus some luck.

The notion Warriors are the GOAT is nonsense.
This is what happens when you read one too many Boom post. People start thinking this team is GOAT bc they're idiots and being prisoners of the moment. And he has to play that angle as an excuse for hardln.

Well the Bulls picked up Dennis Rodman, perhaps the best offensive rebounder in NBA history.
The Warriors are a dynasty; but not at the level the Bulls were.
