End of the NBA gang of Superstars era

If/when the Raptors win the title, does that end the league wide belief that you have to have 2-3 star players to be a contender and win a title?

No.
It means the Warriors are hurt.

Warriors are pretty beat up. I wouldn't use this as the token example to dissuade superstar-centric planning.

More teams will take chances on trying to pair a superstar with role players.
But superstars will always want to play together and try to unite.

It was a nice 60 year run.

The Warriors have 5 all star players and 2 of them are inorganic.
The warriors issue outside of Durant, Cousions, Iggy and Klay not being 100% is they have gradually been losing depth and role players.
The biggest difference between Raptors and Warriors is the Raptors don't have a ego and want to win while Draymond is more worried about his ego than getting KD to help them come back

I mean Durant and klay being hurt is really the only reason they have depth issues

No. It’s an outlier like the 04 Pistons or Dirk’s Mavs

I wish it would stop. It’s shitty sports. Sorry.
The last few World Series’ have been freaking awesome, and the MLB model of the 90s and the Yankee luxury tax have died, and it paved the way for competitive postseason play from non-Traditional teams. Look at the NFL and the parity that goes on.
Having the same 8 teams in contention every year cheapens the regular season and alienates large portions of potential fan bases.

Your subtext is you'd like the first round to be competitive.
As for the op, the fact that three starters missed at least one game seems to have slipped by you.
Teams will do the best they can. That means as many top players as possible.
As many good young cheap players as possible.
Did you approve when braves had a whole pitching staff of hofers or is your beef just with basketball?

Toronto is pretty talented also - Kawhi is arguably the best player in the league (him or Durant). Gasol, Lowry, Ibaka are all all star level talents and Siakam as well. Danny Green is one of the best shooter/defender combos and role players in the league also

Nope.
If they win, Raptors would be a one-off NBA champion team, like Dallas, Miami in 2006 and Detroit in 2004. These are teams that were able to strike at the right time.

Glavine and Smoltz were homegrown stars. Smoltz started in Detroit but was acquired in a trade while he was still in the minors. A lot of that Braves team was homegrown. Glavine, Smoltz, Avery (who may have been the best of the bunch if not for injuries) Chipper, Andruw, Justice, Klesko, Lemke, Javy, etc.. all came up through the Braves minor league system.
