But MDS said Reggie was a complete bust and wasted draft pick.

This proves how the NFL stars can arrive at the top of the draft and at the bottom. Reggie was #2 pick and Colston was nearly Mr. Irrelevant yet both made incredible contributions and were instrumental in the SAinst Super Bowl season.

Who the frick is MDS?

I always said it was complete shite that colston never made a damn pro-bowl despite his multiple 1000 yard seasons

I love colston but tough to say he was ever legit snubbed by the pro bowl. His consistency year to year was great but he mostly hovered around that 1,000 yard mark.

I love that I got a downvote for saying "well-deserved"... the most TD Saints Talk thing ever.

In 2012 Fitz was a replacement selection Probowler with 350 fewer yards and 6 fewer Tds on 20 more targets.

meh, this is something that kinda bugs me

not that they dont all deserve recognition

but to me any way, the HOF shouldnt be like a pro bowl where everyone but the flunkies get in, it should be reserved for the best of the best and not just everyone that could be called a good contributor

it cheapens what it means to get in if everyone who ever played for the saints a few seasons and was a good contributor gets in

it should be reserved only for the all time greats and not just anyone who had good stats, after all, its called the HOF and not the list of players with good name recognition

Colston and Bush were instrumental in bringing a super bowl to New Orleans. Colston has the most receiving yards in team history by nearly 2,000 yards. GTFO

i agree which is why when every member of the saints team makes the HOF simply by spending a few years here it diminishes what the HOF honor means so you can GTFO youself

i never said these two didnt deserve the honor

Thats what the regular HOF is and it would honestly be pointless to have a regular HOF and a Team HOF.

Nothing wrong with recognizing people that made a significant impact on the team regardless if they are a true HOF or not.

wtf? He doesn’t seem to be thinning all that much so I don’t see why he would feel the need to go that short.
