It’s going to be funny when he tries to play buddy-buddy with LSU and the fans when he calls one of their games next season. You know his old, senile arse will def try to be arse-kissing. The reception is going to be brutal.

It has more to do with his love of self and unwillingness to stop digging after having been proven an old fraud that can't get one thing right in an area he's supposed to be a revered expert in. He thinks sheer will and his name alone will cause this thing to end the way he decided it should end, and being right will cause all of the stupidity he displayed disappear into oblivion.
