contracts matter too...lemonhead had one year left (just like brown) and got a max offer sheet (just like brown will)
Why are people convinced that Brown will get a max offer?

One of Indy's bigs has been tossed around by pels twitter for brown and they get the clippers pick or something

Pels could maybe get sabonis(or MAYBE Turner)/Aaron holiday(they listened to offers for him at the deadline

If Indy were to make Turner available (not sure why they would), he is someone I would be interested in. I wonder if they would have any interest in Smart and a 1st rounder?

I don’t really know if the Pacers are down, but a three team deal where we get Tatum, Myles Turner and picks has been my favorite scenario so far. Turner is an elite defensive player and he knocks down 3’s at an above average rate. Honestly, he scores pretty efficiently from every area of the floor. To me, he fits perfectly next to Zion. Also, I don’t think pecking order or egos would an issue with Myles. He’s absolutely perfect as a 4th offensive option. Again, I don’t know the exact situation in Pacer land, but if they don’t want to pay 2 bigs pretty big money and they are leaning towards keeping Sabonis, I’d pounce on this type of deal.

Good question and definitely something that needs to be considered. I think today is completely different considering we now have a respected FO, Zion, & Jrue.

I'm not convinced that the Lakers kids are able to handle being traded to Nola. And to be fair to them because we are pretty brutal on them, the change from LA to Nola is massive

Tatum & Brown from what I can gather, are much more mature kids. Don't know anything about the players on the LAC or Nets but DLO is a CAA agent which I'm sure won't hurt

isn't it funny though? that there is a chance we could send our second consecutive disgruntled superstar to the Clippers?

It would also be our third straight to Cali, counting Baron to the Warriors.

I think basically because we saw guys like Otto Porter get one. Maybe I am wrong, but that seemed like an anomaly I just don't see teams offering Brown $30M+ per year. I think he will get in that $20M range though.

Kuzma is a guy that I have heard is just in love with the glitz and glamour, and is really really into fashion. I just don't see that dude wanting to be here at all.

Not my kinda guy...at all.

With any Lakers trade I think Ball and Kuzma would be shipped off to 3rd teams for better fits.

1) tons of cap space available
2) FA market will be shite in 2020
3) brown can play

Any thoughts on this mythical 3rd or 4th team?

I agree. I think in the $20 million a year or so makes some sense. I cannot see a $30 million a year deal for him unless he balls out next season.

Bulls or Suns for Ball seems likely, as both need a point.

No clue on Kuzma.

I want players who want to play basketball and win. I don’t want players who want to be runway fashion models wearing horribly weird stuff and fake plastic frame eyeglasses.

I hope Zion doesn’t do what AD, Boogie, CP3, and Baron Davis have all done since I was a hornets fan. He seems like he has a good head. I hope the money doesn’t change him. Or the constant phone calls from lebabyback in LA

Maybe, but I think Orlando would for sure be interested in moving Gordon for a Smart + picks based package.

Ball: Bulls, Suns, Magic, Heat, Nets, Clippers
Kuz: Lots of team would give up a pick for him

LeBron will likely be out of the league by the time Zion's rookie deal is up

LeBron will probably try to either buy a team next or be overtly the frontman of Klutch by then, kind of like Jordan moving into management with Washington before buying the Charlotte.
