Disney is doing the exact same thing Netflix is doing. Why wouldn’t you cancel both?

How many abortions are their actresses having that would make it impossible to film in Georgia?

This!

I've never considered myself ardently pro-life, even though I think abortion is a despicable practice. Abortion has simply never been at or even near the top of my political issues of importance.

That said, it never ceases to amaze me how many on the left choose THIS as their hill to die on (no pun intended). Concern that the law would affect a significant number of people working there? Holy shite! How many Disney workers are just fricking indiscriminately with no concern for potential consequences and ZERO sense of self accountability to make this a significant concern? Are there hundreds of Disney workers in other states just rolling through the abortion clinics on a daily basis only to continue to get pregnant and repeat the cycle? If so, I think Disney has a MUCH bigger issue than whether or not one state in which they do business won't allow their workers to continue the practice.

Obviously I know this is just virtue signaling from the CEO largely devoid of logic and rational thinking (foreign concepts to the left), but still! What a despicable issue upon which to draw the line in the sand

Disney loves abortions.

First it's Disney Star Wars, now we have this in Georgia.

Agreed. Virtue signalers are pathetic.

You should tell us more about how good it felt for you to cancel Netflix.

It wouldn’t be in my eyes, you would be a hypocrite by definition

Just say that you didn’t enjoy Netflix and it was an easy decision to make, but now that it would have a negative impact on you, you’ve decided that it’s not so bad

Just say that you’re ok with baby killing as long as you get to watch Captain Marvel on demand. You called Netflix baby killers, and now Disney is on the exact same path as Netflix

Disney just said it would be hard to film there and they doubt they could. Netflix has taken a more active stance.

That annual windfall may soon begin to drop dramatically. Iger told Reuters it “would be very difficult” to carry on filming in Georgia, adding that he didn’t think they would continue if the law goes into effect on January 1, 2020. “I think many people who work for us will not want to work there, and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard,” Iger told Reuters. “Right now we are watching it very carefully.” Disney isn’t the only company threatening to stop filming in Georgia if the law passes. Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, said the company would “rethink our entire investment in Georgia” if the law actually takes effect.
