It is what it is. My kids each have one of these. They're my anchor babies for when Texas cedes from the union.

Food culture. Unless you're eating Tex-Mex, steak, or BBQ the food culture here is chain based. Not a lot of good "mom'n pop" places to get a good meal. Haven't explored the ethnic centers of Houston yet for Chinese food etc but I have heard good things. Louisiana clearly wins in this regard.
Houston's 'ethnic' centers, as you put it, clearly take dumps on what Louisiana has to offer in terms of ethnic foods.

so besides cajun food, which La is clearly better at, how is LA the clear winner in terms of food culture?

Why would I be mad? Just pointing out the obvious.

Food culture

One of the most overrated things on the planet

You can find almost any kind of food you want in any decent sized city on the country. You no longer have to live in a particular city if you consider yourself a "foodie"

It's one of the bottom things I would use to rate a city.

Meh? We have like 3 top 10 schools in North Dallas and I think another 2-3 in Houston.
I don’t care about schools because I don’t have kids, and if I did, they wouldn’t go to public school

Huh? There's concerts every weekend here in DFW. If you like bar hopping there Uptown in DFW and im sure inside the loop in Houston. Austin has its own bar crawl.
again, this can be had in every comparable size city

better weather nice beaches, mountains, unique culture

All I’m saying is Texas isn’t without flaws, something many on here and irl seem to disagree with

It's funny he even said it though. Houston is full of great and diverse offerings. Dallas is starting to blossom in terms of food as well. Of things to knock Texas for, food culture isn't one of them.

Small Town don't have the variety of course, but you can still get great BBQ and Tex Mex.

Texas has space, and money. You can buy incredible homes for next to nothing while sending your kids to really good public schools. Few states offer perks like that. I dno, i hate Texas but a big part of me wants to live there.

100% of the men from Texas are gay, I've already told you that. They aren't impregnating anybody.

If he was in Dallas he wasn’t on I10 and I doubt he made it across the state in a day.

Dallas is significantly better than any Louisiana city, and it isn't close.

Frisco might be the cleanest city in the United States.

I don't know why you addressed this to me? I never said anything derogatory about the state. In fact, I like Texas.

Did you figure out where the driving schools are? Because you can bet if there’s a dumbass clogging up the left lane here, it’s got TX plates
