other news, TIL that Catholic High had 6 graduates score 36 on the ACT and the class average was 26. If the average was only 26 with that many perfect scores, they must have had some real dumbasses dragging them down.
probably all the football players they recruit from north Baton Rouge

If it's anything like schools in Alabama, the tickets are free, but are limited to, say, 8 or 10 per student, depending on the size of the venue. There is a black market of people who are desperate to have seats for more than 8 family members, and will buy tickets from people who aren't using their full allotment.

Or in this case, buy fake tickets from someone.

Same in Florida

Yep. So it's not a Louisiana thing, Alabama thing, or Florida thing. It's just a thing.

They don't have anything like the Berry Center in Cypress, TX a multi educational complex that holds many of the Cy-Fair school graduations that can hold 11,000 people?

How poor is your school when they have to charge people to attend a graduation?

And god brother? I truly love this website.

We had a limit as well. But those who weren’t using their allotment just gave them back to the school for distribution to families that needed more than 10.

This is a thing almost everywhere with limited seating. Many High schools have them at say their football stadium but if the weather is bad and they have to move indoors, everyone gets only 2-4 indoor tickets. As said, tickets are free but there’s a black market for the unused tickets.

It’s pretty interesting that EBRPSB hasn’t caught flack for having the graduation at Healing Place.

Gravy will be in uproar that there were not more black-owned businesses hosting graduations.

100% chance they weren’t sold the fake tickets. They thought they could game the game themselves and were caught.

No, we aren’t allowed to have functional ISDs because it’s apparently racist or something to have a public educational system that isn’t completely assbackwards.
