Mosquito Hawk, instead of dragonfly

A mosquito hawk is not a dragon fly, it is a crane fly. I have never heard someone refer to a dragon fly as that.

If you grew up in eastern St. Tammany, the area has its own linguistics pattern. Took a class on it when I needed a basket weaving credit. Crane flies don’t eat mosquitoes, so calling them a mosquito hawk makes no sense.
