He wants out and a fresh start, no matter what.

Just said on radio he has a report coming out later today on it.

He believes based on what he’s told the meeting is mostly about repairing relationship between Klutch and the team.

So its not about winning, and his legacy. Cool.

I don’t believe anything coming from Fletch. In fact, since he is reporting this I believe the opposite is true.

Fletcher seems to have found himself a source lately. He’s had some info. Crewz source seems to be better but Fletch might be holding back because he actually does this for a living.

We will see.

I don’t understand why people think there is any shot AD comes back. He wore a shirt that said “that’s all folks”. There is no recovering from that. He’s too soft to handle the fan heckling he received. He’s gone.

I’ve come to terms with it.

If he wants to go, then go. Just play nice and get us the most we can on the way out the door.

That was out the window when he said he would go to any of the other 29 teams. If Dell were still here and just wanted to see the world burn, I'd trade him to Phoenix or Sacramento and tell him to enjoy.

If I'm AD's agent and I make my money off endorsements I wouldn't want AD to stay here and be 2A or maybe 2B in a small market. AD will probably never play with more talent than Jrue/Zion, but if he goes to another situation, even KD/Kyrie in New York, he goes as a 1C, not a 2A.

This is where I’m at with the situation. Although I am firmly in the camp that AD>>>>anything we get for him. The Pelicans best chance at major success in the near future includes AD.

Fletch has been mostly on point since this saga started

He's not perfect and puts up shitty trade scenarios but i wouldnt completely dismiss him.

Still AD hasn't met with Griff yet so its impossible to know one way or the other

AD wont be a major endorsement guy no matter where he plays. He just doesn’t have that type of appeal.

At least not enough to make up for the money he’ll leave on the table via the contract.

Completely agree.

I’ve never bought into the AD could be back hullabaloo that Crewz has been peddling. He is gone. 100%.

It isn’t about basketball or our org any more.

I’ve had a hard time buying in because I see AD as very childish. But, seeing as he is childish, enough time has passed that he may now realize he won’t just get his way. The dread of change being hard may set in and he’ll want to stay where things are safe.

Well apparently this board IS in need of a sarcasm font.

I’m just happy I sounded elite enough in my initial post that I may be considered.
