Cant imagine Davos just being ok with the jon decision.
The places those two have found themselves, respect earned..leadership shown, jon inspires people and leads people.
That's like, having dimebag Darrell in your band and making him play keyboard.

How soon is “the past” the past? The moment someone plots against him he’ll be prepared.

He was still wearing the black of The Night's Watch, and he was always a man of honor and duty, meaning he would have accepted his punishment.
I have no clue if he was leaving with them, Ranging with them, or just seeing them off.

They seriously built more tension and drama with Jaime trying to unbutton his shirt to frick Brienne than Jon killing Dany

The way it came off to me, was when the door shut..he watched, and then turned his back on it.

He killed the Queen. Did you think he was going to get off scot free?
Uh yeah, considering he was the true heir to the fricking throne. fricking stupid, stupid ending.

on is where he wants to be. I like that part. He essentially replaced Mance Rayder.
Jon had a good thing going with Danny. He was in love. Then Bran fricked it up for what now amounts to no reason at all? If Jon never finds out, she doesn’t go crazy. Doesn’t kill innocents. Rules benevolently.
Bran def evil. Bran def the NK. Someone had it right. Shoulda ended it with him on the throne, alone, eyes turning blue with a creepy smile as snow falls.

And the scars of the Night Kings touch sorta glowing

Maybe he knew he would be king just not exactly how it'd happen? Again he's not able to see the entire future

So why exactly was Jon brought back to life exactly? To kill Dany? Lord of Light as a whole is just confusing now.

So a few questions:
#1. I guess the Dothraki are also leaving? Especially considering they are a nomadic bunch that either ravage towns or force them to give them their goods.
But didn't it take a Supreme Khalessi to convince them to cross the salt sea? I guess it's not big deal now?
#2. Considering this isn't in the show (as far as I can remember) so maybe not relevant, but don't non-Naath people die if they stay on Naath too long? Maybe not the best destination for the Unsullied?
Butterfly fever
#3. Assuming the Unsullied were going to carry out Dany's wishes, how long does Westeros really have to worry about the threat of the Unsullied coming back? I mean, wars tend to thin out their numbers and they were a force of slaves trained to fight. So unless they start managing to recruit people, they won't be fighting for too much longer.
#4. So I'm guessing Aegon/Jon pulled a Mance Rayder (assuming he even rejoined the Night's Watch - which wasn't shown)? Otherwise, he just peaced out because . . . he felt bad?
I'm fine with Bran as King - the idea that those who don't necessarily desire power will be less likely to abuse it or fight to hold onto it when the time comes for a new leader.

However, corsairs long ago learned that the chances of dying of butterfly fever are low as long as they do not remain on the islands for more than a few hours, and lower still if they land at night, as the butterflies that carry it are day creatures.

I'm kinda glad they sort of abandoned serious storytelling and consistency at the end and just went for silliness and camp. Looked at with that lens, I thought it was kinda enjoyable.

That’s the way I saw it. Plus he had a little grin. What seals it for me is Tormund telling him he has the true north in him. He is taking him up on it.

Suprised they didn’t want to kill Jon immediately. I mean they left everything behind to follow her. Not because she was paying them or because they had too, but because they believed in her. Now they just shrugged their shoulders and move on?
