I don’t know if this is really a theory, but it’s a belief or feeling I have that I would never share with anyone.
I feel like everyone around me perceives their world in a strict first person sense, and have little control over how they react to the world because they just are who they are, whereas I feel like I, second by second, am mindfully choosing what I do and have the ability to step outside my own immediate feelings and perceptions.
In the same vein, once I get to know someone I feel like their behavior becomes very predictable because of the above, and I sometimes get annoyed because I know they are about to say something to me and then I have to sit there and listen to them tell me what I know they’re going to tell me.
I wouldn’t tell anyone this because it comes off like I feel like I’m smarter or more advanced than others which I know is not true. But nonetheless it’s a real feeling I have.

I think social disorders, mental retardation, disabilities, etc are humanity’s version of Darwinism.
We humans are not exempt from the ways of Darwin. Those who think otherwise are mistaken.

Almost all people that perpetuate “global mass conspiracies” of the rich and big companies and isolated, less intelligent people who don’t want to accept the fact that bad things happen and life is random. They rather be comforted that some bogey man is behind every thing with some calculated plan, when most of the time it’s one or two idiots who frick something up on accident.

That there are a large number, possibly infinite, number of worlds that all exist concurrently. Time is linear in our own universe, but at each moment that causality is able to occur, a different world exist to account for each effect. Maybe our perception and consciousness exist on a path of collapsing superpositions into the reality we live through, even though all moments and states in said superposition are represented in different worlds
Also, a 3D/4D universe is a hologram of higher dimensions in this theory

there are no grand conspiracies or “guiding forces” and you really can take the world at face value.
I’m surprised how negative the reaction is to this belief.

I've thought about this. Before Marconi, radio waves existed but they weren't discovered. Before Becquerel and Curie, radiation existed but wasn't discovered. Hell, there are some baws at LSU working on detecting gravitons and doing awesome work.
What's to say we haven't discovered how to observe these timelines or how to verify they exist in the first place? Lot of crazy shite out there, guys. Just need a genius or two to figure out how to see it for the first time.

everything we perceive as reality is in fact a simulation. The creator of this timeline is in fact God. All we are is giant vessels of code. God is the GOAT coder

Religion was invented to control the masses. If it weren't for religion the poor people would rise up and kill the wealthy.
It promotes the view that my life may suck now but it's going to be awesome later. That rich guy over there is going to be miserable in hell.
It may also be for making people feel better about their impending death as an earlier poster stated.
When a child gets sick or dies religious people always say it was for a reason. What possible reason could justify a child in complete misery and agony while dying? I don't really want to be associated with a God that makes innocent children suffer to prove a point
Man, religion was “invented” because early humans looked up an were like “WTF?” They had to tell themselves stories to not go fricking insane. The “Church”—specifically the early Catholic Church—was created to achieve a lot of the things you said. Regardless, that doesn’t exclude the possibility of a God and an afterlife. Just because we wish it so bad we convince ourselves of it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Basically, we don’t know shite. We’ll find out one day. Or won’t.

I’m sure you’re kind of joking, but we’re all the stars of our own stories. You could certainly exist for the sake of my consciousness. And I, yours. We’re all asleep in the Matrix, man.
