Glass room fight dragged.
Should've cut that scene shorter and given us more horse and dogs.
Great stupid fun though. I was pleased.

I did really like the main Japanese bad guy in this one.
That is Mark Dacascos, who was in Brotherhood of the Wolf and is not Japanese. The whole time I thought that was Gordon Liu from Kill Bill. Looks just like him.
Anyone else see this movie at AMC by the mall? I had to show ID to get in. Apparently I don't look over 17. I'm 40 and bald by the way.

Probably making sure you weren’t Russian.

Loved Halle Berry's dogs. Still fine at 52. The Iron Chef fight was John Wick entering the dragon. I wanted the Adjudicator chick to get stabby-stabbed every time she was onscreen. The next movie is definitely set up for a final showdown. John kills everyone and walks off into the sunset or dies trying.

Lot of people are saying the fights are overlong. Damn

The guy from Iron Chef

The fight with wick and the two Indonesian knife guys was the best one in the movie near the end

The adjudicator wasn’t nearly good looking enough. She needed to be a smoke show and she was far from it.

That’s undoubtedly my most hyped scene. Raid 2 is in my top 3 action movies, excited to see Wick take on Mad Dog & The Assassin. Glad to hear it’s as good as I hoped

That’s kind of the brilliance of it in my opinion. These movies tend to come in Trilogies so they were able to kind of play against our assumption
The biggest twist of all for you then:
The title of the movie indicates there is a follow up.
Literally translates to “prepare for war” and has been used figuratively recently to refer to the period that set the stage for the big defining war/conflict.

She was a fricking bureaucrat. Why do bureaucrats need to be good looking?

My only problem with that one is that there were multiple times where they weren’t even trying to defend themselves. They were just letting themselves get pummeled in pretty shots.

The consistency in these films is pretty outstanding.
Overall, I could probably find some points here or there that are slight problems, but they aren't worth mpitpicking when the movie itself is so much fun.
I think 3 had some of the best sequences and most inventive fight scenes yet honestly. And some nice little callbacks to the first two films (how we kills Dacacos).
I meam 4 has to be called "John Wick Chapter 4: War" Right?

I’m a little bothered that 80% of the film was pointless.
All the set pieces, all of the character begging and calling in every marker he had, to go around the world to obtain a chance for redemption.
Which sends him back to New York, where he immediately throws it away.
I was mentally going “Uh guys? We could have just stayed here..”
It kinda reminded me of the pointless plot of Indiana Jones.
Great fun movie, but even if he wasn’t there; even if he does nothing, the ark still goes to the island where all of the Nazis are killed.

loved the movie - introduced my wife to the movies, and watched both before seeing the 3rd today.
for those saying the fight scenes with halle and the dogs, I would like to disagree - i wanted to see more of the dogs. may that was some fun scenes.

They needed a way to drive the "Consequences" point home and get Wick targetting the top. It might have been a little superlfuous, but isn't the entire syndicate kind of overly complex?

I don't know whether I thought this movie was good or not. It had good parts. I felt like during some of the fights I was just watching Wick do the exact same move 30 times.
