If not, then you need to be opposed to any military involvement we have over there.

The Middle East is not worth one single American Life.

Wtf kind of question is this? What question would you ever get a parent to say that the death of their child is a worthy sacrifice?

I voted for Trump in part to keep us from war.

I would not support this at all and he would lose my vote.

If every American had your attitude we'd all be speaking Russian right now.

You cannot have peace when evil men are doing evil things to your citizens, soldiers, or allies.

If America sits on the sidelines when evil is on the move, millions will die. At least by intervening we determine who the casualties are.

Depends, did that Middle Eastern Country attack our troops, bases, embassies, or civilians?

Truth is over the last 50 years Iran has attack troops and embassies directly, and attacked our bases and civilians via proxy terrorists that they fund and train.

At some point you have to nut up and drop a moab on their arse.

This is a poorly phrased question.

We can bring death and destruction on these savages without putting actual boots on the ground these days .... and that is what we should do.

I myself served, as did every generation of men in my family before me. My Son appears to be the first that will not serve and that’s fine .... but if he did choose to serve then I would want him to do his duty and adhere to his oath if called upon.

The Middle East is a shithole and we have no business over there. We also have no business taking in people from over there because they don’t assimilate into western civilization.

Which one? One is kind of a little shite, the other is very weak though.

Answer depends on which one is going, as I obviously have a favorite.

Additionally, I am military myself, will I also be dying, as well as letting my child die? That weighs heavily on my decision also.

Military interventionism is gospel in America. John Q Public is under the belief that the United States has a moral obligation to police the world, when in reality it's an excuse to continue wars that make the political class and their donors filthy rich.

Of course not. Nor my neighbor’s son. Nor a stranger’s son. Not even my enemy’s son. No.

Why do we have troops over there to begin with?

I’d be ok with bombing the piss out of them and letting the Iranian people take over.

Zero boots on the ground.

And military interventionism has forever destroyed the republic. Superpowers don't have constitutional governance. They rule by emergency decree, destroy their currency and oppress their citizens until they fade into history. There is a correlation between the explosion of the size of the federal government and our warmongering/militarism.
