LOL surprising a media story blew something out of proportion...

That said, he’s still really really good. I’m not even sure how a team could find someone to make him become the 2nd guy on a team. KD would be the only guy who could even do it(that would be somewhat realistic).
Harden
Giannis
Kawhi
Durant
And maybe a few more would be the 1st options/primary guy.
And you’re right LeBron is not a great offball player.
He’d need to play in the post/ stretch 5 role...but as a poor FT shooter and declining burst, it might not be the best idea.

Like I said earlier, I'm not much of an NBA fan. What are these terrible FO decisions you keep referencing that are Lebron's fault?
ETA: I'm trying to learn where this animosity is coming from. Because from what I've read recently, Magic Johnson was a terrible GM and Luke Walton wasn't a good head coach.

Lol keep pretending to know nothing. I ignored it earlier but I’m not going back and forth with you if you’re gonna keep doing it.

I rarely watch NBA.
Walk me through the terrible FO decisions that are attributable to Lebron. I honestly want to know which decisions diverted the franchise from "right direction" to "wrong direction."

Sorry not interested in discussing with somebody who doesn’t know anything about the NBA.
Posted on 5/10/19 at 3:48 pm to Weagle25
Pretend to know nothing = not going to discuss it
Actually know nothing = not going to discuss it
Guess it's easier to deflect than back up your opinion.

You’re still pretending. Just because you say you’re not doesn’t change my mind. You’re in way too many NBA threads to “rarely watch the NBA”
Admit you watch or the convo is over.
You were all prepared to laugh at my stance that the Lakers were heading in the right direction because you thought I had nothing to back it up. Then I backed it up and you never responded. Now that’s happening again. I’m not playing that game so...

I don't watch.
I wanted to know what these terrible FO decisions were. Then you started this BS charade.
ETA: And hold up, what did you back up that I never responded to?

Ok
1. If you don’t follow the NBA, me pointing out terrible FO decisions would be pointless correct? Because you don’t know whether they’re bad or not. You wouldn’t know the people I’m talking about etc. So why would I go through them?
2. I just told you what I backed up the first time you pretended to not know anything about the NBA. It’s in this thread. You can either reread the post you just responded to or go back in your own post history. Look up the first time you said you didn’t watch the NBA in this thread. And see my response to it. Then see your lack of response.
I don’t know why I need to keep repeating myself. Either quit floating in the wind with no stance or just don’t have this convo. You clearly have opinions on it to be so confident that I don’t have support when I do

Skimmed and didn't see any FO decisions.
Deflect deflect deflect.
ETA: I was honestly curious about the FO decisions. I even looked up the Lakers roster moves since Lebron got there to see what the fuss was about. Nothing jumped out to me.

Ok frick it. Float it in the wind with no stance.
1. He hired Lue
2. Gave Thompson a 5 year 82 million dollar contract
3. Gave Shumpert a 4 year 40 million dollar contract
4. Gave JR a 4 year 52 million dollar contract
5. Got caught wanting to trade Kyrie blew up in his face.
6. Traded away almost the entire team last year right before the deadline
7. All those dumb decisions everybody was laughing at the Lakers making last year, you don’t think Lebron at least signed off on it?
8. Put the ADtrade stuff out in the public before it happened. Pissed NOLA off made them want to take a lesser deal before giving it to the Lakers.
He makes dumb short sighted decisions time and again. Then moves to the next town. But everybody’s happy because we keep Lebron happy.
But of course none of that means anything to you because you don’t watch the nba so...
And inb4 Lebron shills come in here claiming he’s not involved with any of it.

If you think all these guys come in before Lebron (present Lebron) without question, you haven’t played basketball.

quote:What in the actual frick does that mean? I took a stance. Lakers will be better post-Lebron because (a) Magic is gone, (b) Luke is gone, and (c) a spotlight is being shines on the dysfunction of the Lakers. Lakers will definitely land a better GM, most likely land a better coach, and should get their shite together after the entire sporting world is laughing at them.
Float it in the wind with no stance.
Anything else I'm "floating in the wind" on?
1-5 = Nothing to do with the Lakers so I'm not sure how that changed the direction of the franchise. You're gonna have to explain that one to me.
6 = Didn't happen.
7 = These are the dumb decisions I want to know about. I looked at the roster moves and nothing jumped out as absurd. You've acted like a bitch for a couple pages now when all you had to do was tell me about these decisions.
8 = Anything definite on that? Everything I read didn't pin in on anyone. Could be the Lakers. Could be AD's agent.
But I honestly don't give a frick anymore. Such a damn vagina.

1. Who won a championship in Cleveland? Doesn’t happen without a competent coach.
2. Worst - but collectively agreed upon by the majority of people in the NBA (straight miss)
3. Bad - he was never a defensive lockdown player and at best streaky shooter who was overhyped
4. He, Jr, quit trying which makes this seem worse than it was at the time/isn’t aging well
5. Kyrie was shopping first? I must’ve missed this completely as it is contrary to all reports that stated Kyrie wanted a franchise to himself
6. Worked out well as they made a nice run and were a couple boneheaded plays from a legit series with an all star team
7. Agreed UNLESS whatever the hell their plan was worked out - I.e. lakers acquire whoever as a FA
8. Lakers young guys seem insecure and can’t handle the “Lebron” light which makes this a bad move.
Hard to deny that the Lakers were showing decently around Christmas before the injury bug hit. Balls injury that hasn’t been really discussed was significant as well. What was their record when the 3 core pieces played? Something like 25-8.... someone would have to fact check, I just remember that it was solid.

You had no opinion on whether the Lakers were heading in right direction pre-Lebron because you wanted to see what I would say first. You had no opinion on Lebron’s FO decisions before I said anything because again you want to hear what I say first.
quote:
a) Magic is gone, (b) Luke is gone, and (c) a spotlight is being shines on the dysfunction of the Lakers. Lakers will definitely land a better GM, most likely land a better coach, and should get their shite together after the entire sporting world is laughing at them.
How do you know any of this? You don’t follow the NBA. How do you know those are true/good things?
quote:
1-5 = Nothing to do with the Lakers so I'm not sure how that changed the direction of the franchise. You're gonna have to explain that one to me.
What I said was a prediction was it not? What do you use to make predictions? Past results. You just going to sit here and assume he’s going to make good decisions with no basis. That’s the definition of floating in the wind. I never said he’s already made the bad decisions. I said we’ll be worse off when he leaves then we would’ve been had he never come.
quote:
6 = Didn't happen.
Bold stance for somebody who knows nothing about the NBA. But it did happen.
quote:
You've acted like a bitch for a couple pages now when all you had to do was tell me about these decisions.
Because I can see what you’re doing. Sorry for calling it out. Also all of this started on this page so not sure how it’s been “a couple pages”
quote:
8 = Anything definite on that. Everything I read didn't pin in on anyone. Could be the Lakers. Could be AD's agent.
So you’re just blatantly saying you follow the NBA now.
I don’t know why you can’t just admit you follow it and put an opinion out there.

Bold stance for somebody who knows nothing about the NBA. But I’d did happen.

So you’re just blatantly saying you follow the NBA now.

A. You're losing it.
B. You still haven't told me about these terrible FO decisions that changed the direction of the franchise. All I've got so far is that he tried to trade away half the roster and he might have leaked the AD trade info. Surely there's more than that.
ETA: I haven't dealt with such a sensitive individual in quite a long time. This all stems from me asking about the FO decisions that changed the course of the franchise. To which you've done your best to emulate an 15 year old girl.
