Hopefully, the poop squad wears a shoulder patch that looks like a steaming turd with a "No" symbol over it.

LOL, no you don't, Jay. You friggin bleeding-heart liar.

You can't have a 20,000% increase in drug use in your city and actually say what you just said with a straight face, you delusional a-hole.

OT, granted I prefer living in a feces-free city, but gentrification has ruined some really cool towns.

No it hasn't...

I was really hoping he would expound on which “really cool towns” he was referencing that “gentrification had ruined.”

There's more than one reason for it, but things and areas used to be different.

In the 1960's you could get out of the Army (or whatever), get a job washing dishes, and... afford to live in San Francisco.

I'm sure even then you would have had to have roommates, but come on. Lots of guys did that thing, and even had a beater car or motorcycle back then.

It's just not possible in a lot of metros now.

But how has this resulted in ruined towns? The fact that a young single person could live in Frisco with a motorcycle and shite job is what made it "cool"?

I still don't understand.

Or just use already built unused military bases.

San Francisco isn't expensive b/c of gentrification

SF has no area to expand and its government has made it a purpose to restrict building homes and apartment complexes

but SF is so expensive b/c since the 90s, it's been the major metro city attached to the biggest economic boom since the industrial revolution

Its not me who downvoted, but you want to turn military bases into housing projects? How many free homes are too many?
As to better solutions, Sell the Sidewalks to the highest bidder.

You can't just say it will be more cost effective and it will be. At least Homesick wants already built buildings. Even though that is only about a 20 year solution before they need to be condemned.

Silicon Valley is closer to San Jose, or is that not what you are talking about?

Nothing like a job that requires you to pick up sharp objects in feces!

I think we have a crapping on sidewalk crisis!
