GREAT NEWS FOR OHIO! Just spoke to Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, who informed me that, subject to a UAW agreement etc., GM will be selling their beautiful Lordstown Plant to Workhorse, where they plan to build Electric Trucks. GM will also be spending $700,000,000 in Ohio...
....in 3 separate locations, creating another 450 jobs. I have been working nicely with GM to get this done. Thank you to Mary B, your GREAT Governor, and Senator Rob Portman. With all the car companies coming back, and much more, THE USA IS BOOMING!
A really big deal for Trump in 2020 because it continues to show union workers that’s trump is fighting for them

This is how you win over middle America. Unions are going to have an even harder time convincing membership Trump isn’t friendly.

Those jobs aren’t coming back

You mean like him tweeting pre-election day that he felt the American people wanted him to run the country? That kind of tweet?
How'd that turn out?

But, but, Obama said manufacturing jobs are gone forever in the States!

I didn't say that at all. If this actually does happen (nothing has actually been confirmed to have happened) and jobs are created, that's awesome and props to Trump if he played a role in it.

You can't be so radical to believe that msm is going to get off their current message?
So why did you make that comment when you know it's not true.

I assume you have been giving him props throughout his presidency for putting people back to work then? Weird to speculate on this one instance of growth when its been happening for 2 years now

I didn't say it would work. I said that is what Trump was attempting. (it got some people on here talking..."BOOM")

Huh? I never made a comment on the overall growth of our economy. Talking about this one specific plant and his tweet about it.

Trump has been the most pro-union President in probably 50 years. I'm in a strongly antiunion industry in a strongly antiunion state. Can anyone comment on how union folks view his Presidency, specific to them? I'm surprised union leadership isn't cozying up to him more.

Great news! Now if GM could just make quality, desirable cars...
