If CPM won 14 NC in 12 years, Most of the Rant MIGHT be ok with it. Not satisfied, but not calling for his head, either.

This is such a stupid argument.

Every game requires a starting pitcher.

By SEC play, EVERYONE knew that Hess would be best out of the pen. But... ya know... still got to have a starter for SEC game.

So, given our issues with pitching injuries this season, who would you have started in each SEC game that he started in?

Practically everyday I read a post from one of these low T types bitching about that, but they never say what would be acceptable. Which is their way of saying they have no fricking clue, but just here to bitch.
What a sad life that must be.

But just for the record where is YOUR satisfaction level?

Given how many schools are starting to pay attention to college baseballs, the issues with paid coaches, scholarship limits, and the general parity nature of baseball... I'm happy with CPM.

Don't feed him. He thinks Coach K should be fired at Duke for only making 2 finals appearances in 12 years as well

the same old junk. defenders always assume that critics think lsu needs to win it all every year or be in the nc series. therefore, they can say "you can't win it all every year!" how about just having more cws wins/appearances than everyone else? that is absolutely not unreasonable and on that count, pm has fallen a bit short.

how about lsu be as good as anyone else. is that ok?

LSU is third in the nation in CWS appearances since CPM took over.

Again....only 2 other schools have been to the CWS more than LSU since CPM became the head coach.

And of every coach in college baseball, CPM is tied for first in number of national titles.

I know you are a complete and total idiot. Hell, just the other day you said LSU no doubt has the best facilities in the SEC. So we know you don't pay attention to college baseball at all, but at least make decent arguments when you are on here running your dick sucker.

tied for 3rd since 2010 with uva, vandy, ucla, ark, unc, osu, fsu, msu, tex, ttech. those schools don't spend nearly as much as lsu does. not even close. if lsu can't clear that group, there's a problem. i think you know not to get me started on the win/loss records

you losers love reaching all the way back to '08 to prop him up don't you

and you all complained about me cherry picking stats.

nope. as usual, you people can't make a point without lying. i said no one in the country has better facilities and there's no doubt about that. you knuckleheads responded by talking about the grandstands that you see on tv every once in while.

so i quoted win/loss records. i cited doe statistics. i have cited articles in the past to substantiate my points. but i don't pay attention says the crew who wants to argue about national seeds. my word

just to summarize for this thread, the pm crew thinks they're being reasonable by trying to say pm is doing a good job (others having a better postseason record is "negligible") because lsu isn't really the best anymore. this isn't the 90's after all. the unwashed masses expect pm to win it all every year.

well, first, that's stupid. no one is saying that so they're attacking a strawman. second, no one is buying the pm crew's attempt to say lsu isn't the premier program anymore. lsu is the premier program and i have cited statistics to prove that point. so they are basically trying to tear down the status of the program in order to prop up pm's postseason record. explain how that makes sense.

yeah, the crew started crawfishing in the other thread when i didn't back down despite 20 pages of temper tantrum from them. want to do that here too? some genius FINALLY posted the records since '09 (only after i had been challenging it for 2 years) and it showed exactly what i said it would: the pm crew is wrong.

The Rant said Hess is not a starter.

The Rant was wrong, he’s started for three seasons in various roles.

His best performances have been as a closer, however, the team has needed help at starting pitcher more so than at closer and the guy did his best for the team.

Let’s hope this works out for the team.

Sorry, but who do we start last year if not Hess?

Who do you start at the beginning of this year if not Hess?

You can say he’s not a starter until you puke.

It was out of necessity.
