Physics 2. Electro physics. Class full of engineers who will never use it, taught by a bunch of FOB professors who were built to be stellar researchers...

Average grade was in the 30’s. Nobody failed the course.

I had a Thermodynamics exam where I got a 38%. And that was a C+ with the curve. Just a crazily brutal test.

Pick a 1L final from the first semester. That one was the worst.

Statics with some Arabic dude that replaced the teacher we were supposed to have that had to stop teaching because of a bad moped accident...

Strengths with Moorthy. frick that POS.

Engineering Physics 3 with Robert Beaird. Dude looked and acted like the Angry Video Game Nerd. Strictest grader on the planet. Miss a unit in one line of work? -10. Ended up scoring a 70 on the final to pass the class with a 70, so there's that

Corporate Finance in my MBA was a cumulative exam that was clearly the hardest test I ever prepared for or took.

Naval Nuclear Power School and Naval Nuclear Power Prototype School. Both had an 8 hour written exam, all long answer and problem solving. After the final in prototype school you had to face an oral board that took most of a day. It was grueling.

I took a highway construction class and it only had 2 test. The midterm and the final. Each were 50 questions. Every question was a point on your grade. That shite sucked.

USMLE Step 1. If we’re not counting board exams, I’ll say Medical Physiology renal exam, when I was getting my Masters degree.

A soil and water engineering class. Final was 27 pages long and we had to use calculations on our computer software to come up with answers in paragraph form, but in the conceptual sense. All grading was relative to the time it was graded, the mood of the grader, and the writing skills of the student.

It was absolute nonsense, but at least we got our money's worth of learning. Damn Asian professors and their calculators for brains.

Worst exam was the Oral part of the PhD qualifying exam in Physics grad school.
The written part of the qualifier was pretty brutal (2 4-hour 5-question exams on consecutive days), but after you passed the written you were admitted to the oral exam.
You stood in front of a chalk board and a committee of 4 professors got 2 hours to hit you with any physics questions they wanted; quantum, classical mechanics, thermo, optics, Electricity and Magnetism, fluid dynamics, Experimental, Math, whatever...
The worst part was that the professors could ask follow-up questions and adapt. If they found you were weak in an area, then they could spend the rest of the time asking questions from that area.

Some type of geography class at LSU. Made an 82 but was curved down to a C. Buddy of mine had same class from same teacher on different day. Made a 78 and grade was curved up to a B. The C that I made was my high watermark for the semester. My BAC exceeded my GPA.
