What do I need to get this up and running? Just a fire stick? Currently I only have AppleTV.

How difficult is it to set up?

Best services?

After set up, how user friendly is it? I use to have an old Kodi box and, though I understood it, it still wasn’t user friendly IMO.

I have a FireTV and use No Sleep IPTV. I run the Kodi version but they have APK versions too that you just sideload onto your FireTV. Here is a sideloading Tutorial. With IPTV you generally get all UK and USA channels as well as PPV, NFL,MLB and NHL packages. I can find good streams about 90-95% of the time.

I use gearsTV. it’s one of the more expensive services, but still a great deal and the quality is legit. 0 buffering 99.9% of the time.

There's a ton of IPTVs out there. The trick is finding one with a great support group that updates it's users on any known issues or if they're rebooting the servers. After that, it comes down to price and efficiency. No Sleep has been good for over a year. I used to have Flawless but they were pretty expensive when compared to others.

Some have free apps for your phone or tablets. Always nice to be able to watch anything on the go.

I use Area-51 IPTV...$5/month for over 2,000 channels PPV included. It works good for me. I have it on an Nvidia Shield and an Amozon Fire TV box. The $5 / month gets you a two device service. They're Youtube videos on how to set it up and download it ect...

Smart IPTV app is very simple

log into their site load your playlist that your iptv provider gives you and boom done.

i used rushmore

$90 for the year

i also run it through Kodi on my XBOX One when im watching it in another room. The IPTV through Kodi is really easy to use and the tv guide is actually legit.

Gears is the best, Vaders is a legit second

Pay for the best hardware (Nvidia shield or computer)

So you just pay $10-$20/mo to stream whatever from any channel?

I assume this is in the same legal category as popcorn tv, Pirate Bay, DareTV, etc?

Looks like a great way to get quality, cheap content.

What are the cons?

I like to use tiviMate for any iptv. Interface is great and you can remove groups to have just what you want.

It will work with any iptv provider with the m3u url. You have to sideload it. I don't think roku's can, but if you can. Yes, it will work on any android device except cellphones and tables.

I'm still using them from your recommendation and they're still pretty great.

Just be prepared, it WILL buffer at times. It's not cable. It's possible your stream sucks during the middle of the big game. You need to know how to load a quick alternate source when needed.

Another reason to use tivimate. So easy to switch. It's as if it's all the same. You can add multiple playlists.

I pretty much use them for British tv and all those channels have back ups to handle the extra strain on the server.
