Today’s Baseball Game Is A Must Win...

If the Tigers want a chance at a top 8 seed, they need to win today. We really need a good outing by Marceaux. I will feel much better if we can get him on track and have Henry come back healthy.
This team still has time to get hot and make a deep run.
If we could get Jaden Hill back, that would be huge.

1:00 PM Central...beautiful weather here in bama again...caught game 2 yesterday and leaving for game 3 now..today I believe our bats come back like the Florida series...Ball should be carrying out of the crap field the tide call a baseball park...

the game is important but not a must win.
we can still have a great season if we don't host a super. BUT, we are going to have to get Henry and Hill back and start getting some damn hits.
also, this team is shitty at manufacturing runs. most of this is our terrible bunting skills but also our inability to hit sac flies. it's ironical because we have great team speed. therefore, we better start hitting the damn ball. Dugas may be a big shot in the arm but the other top hitters need to start hitting again. it seems as if one guy gets hot the others get cold. just imagine if Beloso, Cabrera, Watson, Smith and Dups all get hot and Bianco continues to come around. if this happens, we can win a Super on the road.
in short, baseball is a long season and this year it is taking longer to get than normal (probably due to injuries).

Agreed. Getting Cole Henry back for the remainder of the season is huge. The schedule is about to get brutal. If he's out for the rest of the season we may not even reach a super.

LSU's record on Friday night is 7-4 (I counted Thursday series starts as Friday).
Not sure how you equate that to not being able to win on Friday?

Are we guaranteed a regional or Super if we win today? Of course not
All that said, I agree with you.., it feels like we must win this series for us to have any hope at a Top8 and generally feeling for us to set ourselves up for a strong finish in the final three series.
I wanted a sweep this weekend, but at the very least we have got to take this series against Bama.

That's what makes it not a "must win." I'm not going to make the argument that it's not though. It's pretty important to win this series.
