I don't think anyone here is complaining. We're questioning whether it impacted his draft stock.

It's a valid question considering he was viewed as a top 10 pick a year ago, and didn't do anything from a football perspective to drop him this much.

I truly think the whole "tackling" thing brought him down. Plus he probably had a bad agent too. It also doesn't help that not many teams so far have truly needed a Corner.

it's not a really deep class of corners either and one of the deeper classes ever for DL

No one thinks bosa is soft.

When analysts are saying you don’t like to tackle and are lazy then you quit and don’t want to play the bowl game you kind of confirm what they are thinking

He could have made a statement by playing hard in the bowl game

Boss was hurt most of the year.

bullshite! Defend Bosa, but shite on Greedy. Typical LSU butthole type fan. Nobody hates former LSU players more.

Uh it was his junior year and he could have come back for the last 3 games after his injury. Instead, as soon as he had the injury, he withdrew from school and signed with an agent.

But that doesn’t fit the shite on. Greedy agenda.

In general, probably correct. But the NFL draft is made up of all kinds of people and personalities. I can assure you that at least a few GMs or HCs looks at that in a negative aspect. Some are still old fashion and value team loyalty. I think That's plausible

For an owner or 2 maybe. But lets quit acting like he’s the only or first guy to this. Plenty of others skipped the bowl and didn’t fall. It’s not a factor

And all the jackasses shitting on Greedy, name all those other CBs picked in the first round before him. Did his sitting out effect their draft stock as well? Miserable fricks!

Apparently you every player that’s ever skipped a bowl was hurt except for Greedy

No, there just weren't a lot of good corners this year to draft. DL was as deep as it's ever been

There have been multiple players who sat out their bowl games drafted in the first round

LSU fans are just retarded

all the first round picks that skipped the bowl game were hurt, except for Baker who just went #30 overall. I'm not saying there is a correlation. I'm just saying stop comparing Greedy's situation to others' situations that aren't the same. So if "quitting" is a non-issue, I guess Greedy just isn't as good as many thought or simply wasn't viewed as valuable by NFL GMs

Every situation and every payer is different.

A player like Devin White could probably get away with that. They have already proven they are hard workers.

If someone is already questioning your desire to tackle and you skip games that’s probably not a good look

And for those defending Bosa, didn’t he quit on his team because, as he stated, he wanted to begin preparation for the NFL draft? So how did his injury preclude him from preparing to return for his team, but allowed him to prepare for the draft? If he hadn’t quit on his team, wouldn’t he have been able to play the final few games and the bowl game? In other words, using injury as an excuse for Bosa is disingenuous. Didn’t these same jackasses claim Fournette quit on his team for the bowl game when he was injured? Double standard much?

I didn't. I saw Fournette repeatedly, throughout the year, try to play through that injury and keep re-injuring the same ankle. Didn't Orgeron basically tell him not to play as well?

ETA: granted Fournette has his own attitude issues he's been dealing with this past year as well

Which has what to do with his time at LSU or this conversation?

You may not have, but there were many “fans” vilifying Fournette for missing that Bowl game despite his continuing injury issues with his ankle. And that after Fournette literally saved LSU recruiting and then gave his all to the program, despite a playbook that set him up for failure, especially against Alabama.
