At a bar and the topic turns to politics and Trump. I'm asked what I think of him to which I reply we have our lowest unemployment rate in years and the stock market is doing great. As long as those two things continue I'm content. I was then asked why I support a racist president and I replied what makes him racist. I said I don't agree with him on Twitter and felt he would be more popular if he abstained from it.
Then I was told I did not understand politics and if invited for him I was a racist like him. I just said, ok this is why politics and religion should not be discussed and pair my tab

Ok, I guess that person must watch CNN.

No big deal.

I love foreigners and their benevolence in regards to the US political system. Have had numerous convos in other countries and everything they spout they don’t like about Trump is straight out of CNN’s lying mouths.

I’ve actually been surprised to have a few Chinese nationals be fans of Trump because he is taking it to their leadership.

Honestly today I refrained from talking about The Biden video because I was going to take issue with the mischaracterization of Trump’s comments. I knew I wouldn’t have made any headway with the people I was talking to.

CNN International is in airports around the world for a reason. It puts the lefty talking points in other countries for the exact purpose of your conversation abroad.

Wow. Overseas ? That sounds far away . Do they speak English overseas ? Is it scary there ? I bet they have weird shite like post modern disco and weird sex practices and unicycles and exotic vegetables and cheese foods , overseas. I’m staying in Baton Rouge, me. No overseas for me . Cool conversation about Orange Man though. He’s bad.

yep, same for me in Germany . Quite a know-it-all middle aged female gave me a lecture while waiting on a train on international relations. I suggested she invite Obama to move to Germany.

It is amazing how people from other countries are aware of U.S. politics.

Some know more than U.S.citizens.

As I once told a Brit in England, I'd not presume to get into the weeds of your country's politics; what the hell qualifies you to get into the weeds of ours?

I was asked the same thing in Spain last year.

I told him Americans were tired of establishment politician bullshite, so they revolted and voted for someone who told it like it is instead of some old bag that would've continued said bullshite.

He nodded his head, we took a shot, and we continued our night.

I go to Mexico for business quite a bit. Brazil too.

The Mexicans I interact with are mostly older Spaniards (white Latinos). Same with the Brazilians.

They don’t say shite about trump, but they do complain about gays and Chinese quite a bit. The Brazilians told me their families danced in the street when Bolsonaro won. The Mexicans want a wall vs Guatemala.

Latin America isn’t as different as progressives think.

I had a three hour conversation with an Armenian in Thailand. He thought Trump was a racist fool. I completely dominated him and his misinformation. I educated him on the plan for a one world totalitarian socialist government. Soon into the conversation after I was dropping fact bomb after fact bomb he started saying that we need a brutal world government. he basically had nothing.

There was a Turk there who listened to the conversation thoughtfully. Later that week he invited me to his wedding in Istanbul. Apparently, I made a lot of sense to him. Both of these guys were raised as Muslims but live as agnostics now.

a flock of middle aged Canadian women were running around our resort in Punta Cana in spring of 2017 clucking about Trump. We just told them it was none of their business and to shut the frick up. Never saw them again.

Here's what your response should've been:

"He's done alot for minorities in our country as far as jobs and prison reform. Why do you hate minorities?"

Then no matter what their response is you say:

"I'm sorry. I just don't feel comfortable having this conversation with a racist" and you leave.

Just got of the phone with a New Zealander. He wasn't very enthusiastic about Trump, but we figured out they he's paying 3X what I pay for gas and 2.5X what I pay for milk.

The wife and I were cruising recently. We went to dinner and got seated next to some fat Canadian and his fat wife. About 20 minutes into dinner he starts badmouthing Trump. He said some nonsense about "Trump killed high speed rail in California." I said, "No, the governor of California did that." Meanwhile, his wife is giving him a "shut the frick up" look and my wife is looking at him like he's stupid. He didn't say another word the rest of the meal.
