I would play him every game from here on out and keep Hughes on the bench ,this dude is on every pitch and has a better attack at the plate and ain't too bad in the field either

He looks more of a hitter than the Dixie Youth Hal Hughes

Hughes is batting .192 with 21 K in 99 AB

Bianco is batting .149 with 18 K in 41 AB

As for the glove,

Hughes has made 2 errors with 69 assists

Bianco has made 3 errors with 13 assists

Just like Willis, he will be big for LSU, they both need some consistency at the plate
The more playing time they get the more confident they will become

I will take the Aggressive hitter any day and not someone that is swing bunting and looking like he never picked a bat up before anyday

What does aggressiveness get you if you can't put bat on ball?

The OBP's are pretty much the same, and Hughes is the better baserunner of the two.

The only thing Bianco gives you over Hughes is more pop. They are both shite hitters right now, but Hughes has the better glove. So he's the better of the two right now. Which is a sad state affairs.

He wasn't doing that Friday and Saturday. At least, not as bad as previously.

Bianco has no business on a college baseball field.

That's going a little far. Once he gets the plate discipline down, he could be a good middle of the order bat.

The most important stat right now that gives Bianco the edge over Hughes is:

Uninjured Hands:
Bianco - 2
Hughes - 1

He did look a bit better this series. Hopefully he's figuring it out. He has perfected the 3 pitch K up to this point though. I want the Tigers to win.

Wasn’t Bianco a 250 hitter in high school ball. If that is the case, it explains why he is struggling so much with college pitching. He literally couldn’t handle the pitching at the level before this.

I think drew Bianco has potential but with dugas back I don’t think he or Hughes will start much for the rest of the season if Broussard can stay on form. I would imagine dugas would be DH for lefties with gio for righties. If dugas struggles coming back Willis may get some time too. I think pm wants to leave Reid in the field because some players just hit better whenever they are also playing field and Reid is just a sutuation where you don’t want to ruin a good thing

Did you just make that up?

quote:

batted .409 in 2018 with seven doubles, one triple, six homers, 24 RBI, 31 runs scored and a .554 on-base percentage … posted a four-year career batting average of .352 in 138 games with 33 doubles, three triples, 20 homers, 147 runs and 100 RBI
