IDK, seems fricked up:

Quote:

Less than 1 percent of the population — including aristocrats, royals and wealthy investors — owns about half of the land, according to “Who Owns England,” a book that is to be published in May. And many of them inherited the property as members of families that have held it for generations — even centuries.

Time to redistribute it to people that quit school in the 9th grade or didn't even grow up there. It isn't fair dammit!

“Agricultural land is not an ordinary traded good, as soil is nonrenewable and access to it is a human right,” the report said. “As with the concentration of financial wealth, too high a concentration of agricultural land splits society, destabilizes rural areas, threatens food safety and thus jeopardizes the environmental and social objectives of Europe.”

If that Commie bastard gets his way, 0% of the population will own any land.

Everything these retards need is a human right. Sure you spent hundreds of thousands of dollars going to medical school. "Access to your labor is a human right!"

Land ownership in the UK is entirely different from the US. It's a comparatively small island and most live in apartments

That literally makes no fricking sense, are you trying to say more choices, more space?

Wealth inequality doesn’t matter as long as standard of living continues to improve.

The poor today have air conditioning, running water, cable TV, and a smartphone.

The 1% articles are great click bait but it pulls at jealousy cords more than anything else. I don’t care that there are billionaires who have dramatically more wealth than everyone else. As long as my SOL is acceptable, then I’m indifferent to rich people.

Is it hard to understand that most people won't be landowners on a heavily populated island?

That's why they're turning into such pussies. They have to virtue signal to distract from how they live.

You don't understand Communism? Most that support it don't either.

The state (the people) own everything, so all property is communally shared. Everyone owns all the property equally, right? But show me where that ever took place. Russia? China? Neither did. The Communist government owned it and they decided who had rights to the land.

Communism looks good on paper, but in the real world, it just doesn't work out that way.

It doesn't even look good on paper. We don't have equality of effort, education etc. Why should we have equal outcomes?
