Just because we have a new AD doesn’t mean we need to fire Coach O. While many may not have agreed with the way he was hired, I think we can all agree he has LSU football on an upward trajectory. But now, because we have Woodward, a bunch of people are wanting O gone. Just illogical imo.

And a lot of them want a HC that left his last school in shambles.

I expect 11-1 and hope that’s what happens. I think we will see another 9-3 campaign.

Like every LSU fan all I want to happen is our football team to win. If it is with Coach O then cool because I just care about us winning.

I clearly need to

That statement has no reflection on my personal opinion of Coach O. Go dig around in my history and you will find that i have been a long time advocate for him.

Also (im not sure why im still trying to teach you how to read and comprehend, i guess its to try and better the world) that statement you so arrogantly quoted is my view on how a new AD, like Scott Woodward would view ANY and ALL HC's in the big 3 sports. (Football, Baseball, Basketball)

Swing and a miss little guy, keep following me around and trying to dissect my posts. Im running out of eggs to smear on your face

Another poster stated this a few down from your post

I've only seen a few suggest he should be gone immediately. I think most suggest that he is less secure now that the AD's job is tied to his success.

Its a nice way to sum it up for you

When has Ole Miss not been in shambles?

So your expectation is for a 9-3 season next year. Got it.

So you're saying with more experience, talent and a better schedule you cant see improvement.

Yes. The standard I am holding him to is 11-1, but I think he will finish 9-3.

No more free passes like 29-0.

It kind of shocked me a bit too, and I hate letting the rant do that. People seem to think Woodward in = O out, with no justification behind that thought.

Woodward might be the biggest O fan in Baton Rouge for all we know. And he isn't exactly struggling right now. Rant gonna rant I guess.

It's foolish to think that Woodward is just going to come in with a guillotine. That said, it's also not a stretch to think that O now realizes that complacency is not an option now that frickboi Alleva isn't his boss. He's got to perform AND get asses in the seats.

Woordward is going to give him every opportunity to do so.

Believing Orgeron's leash is shorter doesn't equate to wanting him gone at the moment. AD's like having their own guy. This isn't breaking news.

I'm sure even Orgeron understands he won't have the same slack without Alleva, particularly if the program remains static for the next couple of seasons.

I don't think it's "hate."

Holding O accountable hasn't happened - either by the Admin or the press.

No need to confuse "holding O accountable" with "hate." not the same.

Well, your standards don't mean anything except to you

So, again for the 4th time, what reasons do you see that will prohibit the team from improving on last year?

Because most football knowledgeable expect improvement.

A new AD should reassess everything. You don't fire an AD for a new guy to come in and maintain the status quo.

Orgeron should be assessed just like Wade should be.

Its a ridiculous concept the mob came up with in 2017 and have mindlessly repeated it.
