Calvin Fayard has been low key ever since the train hazmat spill in LP, but he has funneled millions into donation to the Clintons and was almost nailed by the Ethics Commission for laundering his money into his daughters run for statewide office.
He said not flashy but he’d been a super bundler and PAC donation specialist for Democrats for decades.

His law bio says he didn't join the firm till 1996 and the tobacco settlement was in 1998 so it's hard for me to imagine he got that much unless Wendell Gauthier was a very generous guy

Holy frick i Knew that name was familiar. I dug through my old pics just now and Yep. I partied with this guy at Mardi Gras 2006 at Anne Rice's old house on St Charles. My ex wife is a friend of his now ex-wife Brittany Benoit. I was at their wedding outside of Thibodaux.

Holy shite. Just looked up his firm's website. They do mock trials before a real trial. Is the John Grisham book, Runaway Jury about him / firm?
