That Hell's Bells refrain w/ the fog rolling in was priceless! LSU won that game big. I remember Morris Claiborne taking it to the house right after WVU scored to get back in the game. The Mountaineers were never the same after Claiborne's epic run.

Home - 1983 Florida State; I was a high school senior and it was my first game in Tiger Stadium. We earned a birth in the Orange Bowl and the student section pelted the field with navel oranges - convinced me to become a Tiger.
Away - 1985 Notre Dame, year after they drubbed us at home we beat them in front of TD Jesus!!

Somebody apparently was NOT at the UGA 2003 game. I was at both, and I will take UGA 2003 all day long, and twice on Tuesdays.

I do recall, in the most pleasant, the season of aught 2, the Louisiana State University Fighting Tigers under the tutelege of a Mr. W.S. Boreland. A man of most respectable character, engaged his Tigers against the Aggies of Mississippi Agriculture and Mechanical.
Oh, what a kurfuffle! I delighted in witnessing the Fighting Tigers victorious on this Thursday past noon.

I’m with you brother. My hearing has never been the same since ‘79 USC.
‘82 FSU was such a beautiful beat down & felt like LSU FB was, for that night, on the national stage.

I have attended them all since 1966. Other than the National Championship games, my answer is Florida 2007. That was Tiger Stadium at its peak.

I agree with Auburn 69. Noon kickoff. Nationally televised on ABC
Action from beginning to end. Conservative Cholly Mac opened with a HB pass for a TD. Auburn countered with soon to be Heisman QB Pat Sullivan. Close game sealed by the Tigers blocking a FG and PAT

yes 21-20, first meeting since 1942, both teams ranked Tigers (9) 5-0, Auburn (14) 4-1. it was an on the edge of your seat game from beginning to the end.

Mid-90’s win in TS over #1 Florida.
IIRC the score was 28-21.
