My favorite was Alabama @ Legion Field in 1982. What made it great was the way LSU dominated the first half. It was wonderful to hear the loud mouthed Bama fans so quiet. At the half, you could have heard a pin drop!! Their silence was PRICELESS!!!

Best home game 97 Florida and 2000 Alabama. Knowing my dad was there in 69 and again 31 years later to see LSU win at home. When they called the ball alabamas he was near tears saying “ their going to give it to them! We can’t beat them”. When they over turned it. He knew LSU would win!

Many have come close, but none has ever overtaken LSU vs. Auburn 1969. You had to be there.

Only been to two so I'll say Florida in 2011. Was a day game and was packed. Also that fake punt by Wing was cool to see because I was near the endzone he ran to.

2000 Tennessee- coming off an embarrassing home loss to UAB a week earlier, the Tigers knocked off a ranked Tennessee team in OT. 8 year old me watched in awe as the crowd rushed the field and tore the NEZ goal posts down. From that game on I was hooked.

Top 5 matchup in Tuscaloosa. Jamarcus Russell hit D. Bowe for game winner in OT.
