What I think is that Steph Curry isn't a SG

Curry dribbles the ball up the court

Draymond is their main facilitator

Durant has responsibilities too

A), Dwyane Wade, final answer.

ETA - titles, all around player, efficiency. None of the others can check those 3 boxes.

Curry is 3rd in that grouping in assists this year. And is shooting 18x per game. That does not reflect the game of a point guard.

A lot of pgs are forced there these days cause of size or roster construction. I prefer to look at their overall game. How they play determines What they are in rare cases like this

Like how do you even compare Chris Paul to Steph curry

But if I put curry & prime ray Allen side by side you’re going to be confused

Curry is a point that shoots alot more than a normal point.

Wade was a sg but drove much more than curry

No way is curry a 2 guard he just isnt the average point guard that people are used to

That’s how YOU determine what they play. But the entire NBA disagrees. Steph is a point.

Point guards that shoot twelve 3’s a game at 44% have never been a thing. Cause that’s a shooting guard lol

Indeed Curry is a special player. I’m still interested to see how the other Warriors fit into your neat positional boxes if you’d like to try

Positions aren’t set in stone. By your logic, quarterbacks back in the day should have been called something else than today’s quarterbacks since they used to hand the ball off 40 times instead of slinging it 40 times.

Do running backs like Kamara who have more receiving yards than rushing yards need to be called WRs? That’s your logic. It makes no sense

Curry hasn’t led his team in assist in 4 seasons.

He’s 3rd on his own team in assists this year.

Just cause he shoots 12 3 s a game doesn't make him a shooting guard

He can still run a team if he needs to.
Have you seen Steph dribble and pass you tard

The hockey assist is real.

This isn’t your old man 90s basketball where the PG passes the ball and whoever receives it has to shoot within the time frame for an assist before kicking back to the PG.

What would you call Tony Parker? He’s a career 15.5/5.5 assist guy. Has two seasons over 20ppg, two seasons above 7 assists per game.
