Tyler Summitt back on the bench as a HS asst. Coach

Three years after resigning as Louisiana Tech women's basketball coach for "engaging in a relationship" with negative effects, Tyler Summitt is back on the bench, beside his wife and former Bulldogs' player Brooklyn Pumroy Summitt.
On Thursday, Fairborn High School, a public school in Fairborn, Ohio, just outside of Dayton, announced the hiring of Brooklyn Pumroy Summitt as head coach of the varsity women's basketball team. Summitt played at Fairborn from 2008-12 before college stops at Marquette and Louisiana Tech, where she was coached by Tyler (Marquette assistant from 2012-14, Louisiana Tech head coach from 2014-16).
Tyler Summitt, just 23 years old during his first year as Louisiana Tech head coach, resigned in April 2016 after an extramarital affair with a Louisiana Tech player -- later revealed to be Pumroy -- was made public.
"It is with great regret that I resign from my position as head coach of the women’s basketball program at Louisiana Tech University," said Summitt in a statement. "I am profoundly disappointed in myself for engaging in a relationship that has negatively affected the people I love, respect and care about the most. My hope, plans and prayers are to repair those relationships."
"It will be great coaching alongside my husband, Tyler Summitt, who will be our varsity assistant coach," Pumroy Summitt said in Fairborn's release.
