Why is the POC burger such a lightning rod on this board? I think it’s pretty decent and at least a real patty. So why the controversy?

Port of Call is an OK burger but its just a big thick piece of cheap meat with shredded cheese.

Everyone likes what they like. I ask the question because it gives me an idea of what style burgers he likes. Whether he ranks on the experience or the burger.

I feel Like Port o Call’s burger is one one end of the burger spectrum
I like Thinner flat griddle burgers.

Atomic burgers are a totally different style. I would compare it to a shake shack burger, but with more options, toppings and sauces. Port of call is really good, but I would rather atomic burger

Atomic burger is good when you compare it to other fast food drive through places in BR but it is very meh when you compare it to any non fast food burger restaurant
