What will break this stalemate between Wade and LSU?

i really don’t know what would do it. But something needs to break.

Dawkins plea deal. All info gets sealed. Wade sits down with everyone and tells them that he never offered anything monetary.

And what if there is not a plea deal? What will the trial on April 22 do? Wade is not on trial. He is a witness. Things could really drag out. Something has to happen to break this stalemate. The ship can’t have a rudder for months.

We just allowed the team to play in the Sweet 16 with a legitimate chance of advancing without a coach.
That should tell you that Wade isn't willing to talk to LSU before the trial and that LSU isn't going to change its position (in a positive way) until or if he talks to LSU.
The one thing we potentially could see is LSU outright firing him. Theoretically, they could have decided that weeks ago but decided not to announce it until after the tournament. If that doesn't happen, there will be no news until after the trial is complete.
I think we are going to get the worst of both worlds. I think we are going to wait for the trial...and then after pissing away weeks of valuable time, Wade is going to be fired. That's the MO of this athletic department.
Alleva did it with Miles. He had an 8 week head start on the rest of the country from a hiring perspective. He was literally at square 1 by the time the season was ending...so he panicked and hired from within.
