Twitter Suspends, Quickly Reinstates Pro-Life Movie 'Unplanned' On Opening Weekend
So Twitter, and others, keep showing their stripes as they should be looking internally to check themselves. They keep adding up the reasons to be looked at.
This movie had trouble getting advertisers, had trouble being allowed to advertise, and got an "R" rating on what essentially is a Hallmark movie compared to what gets 'PG-13' or less.
I wonder what these social media folks did to the guy who wrote that nasty comment about the girl who was killed by the fake uber guy...

Twitter is a private company...
They suck, but they can do this stuff.

By who?
They're a private company, they can censor whatever the frick they want on their website.
If you don't like it, don't partake of their business. It's a simple concept with extraordinary power but it does require a little effort on your part.

Conservatives whining about private companies making private decisions
Really such a dumb collection of individuals

Anybody who cares about anything that has ever happened on Twitter is a dumbass.
Also, the filmmakers should have gotten Kevin Sorbo to play the fetus.

They probably just don't want to be associated with a shitty movie.

FoxNews used to Tweet a hundred times a day.
They abruptly stopped tweeting anything back in November.

Twitter should be able to do this as a private company. But they champion themselves as giving a voice to everyone so censoring someone for being on one side of a very split topic is hypocritical

Five pages of posts and nothing about the movie that is in the OP? Hmmmm

Twitter is using their platform to censor specific political accounts that don't match the dogma they are promoting, and they should be looked at.

It's their company. They can do whatever they want. Just walk away from it, frick them.

I just hope the antithesis of the movie is made. It could also be called "unplanned".
A teen from a trailer park gets pregnant and has no option but to carry the baby for 9 months and then give birth to a baby boy she doesn't want completely on the taxpayer's dime. Then show how the mom gets a section 8 apartment because she now has a "family". The story follows the child through gradeschool all the while the mom exists on welfare. Being from the dregs of society, the now teen boy with an alcoholic mother drops out of highschool after several suspensions because he didn't have a father in his life. A few years of couch surfing he finds himself homeless and addicted to drugs. Desperate for a fix, he robs a gas station. Now he is in jail all on the taxpayer's dime. After 8 years he gets out of jail. Unable to cope with life on the outside he takes his own life. Oh, and when he was 19 he fathered a child and cycle started over again.
Abortion is smart. You people who want unwanted children in the world are dumb and irrational.
But I guess the teen could've just practiced abstinence in the first place like Jesus wanted her to because that works.

They are a private company. They are allowed to ignore/offend your moral core. You are allowed to not twit.
