I don't think I'll ever understand WTF this is

I try and read how it works and why it exists for about 3 minutes before my eyes glaze over

As far as I understand it, it’s basically just a way to get rid of friendlies and give the smaller nations a chance to climb the rankings.
Each group winner in League A will play in a four team bracket summer 2020 for a trophy lol

It occurred to me it may just be an organized way to supplant friendlies and if so I can move on with my life knowing only that much

It's pretty much the same thing as the UEFA Nations League.

Yeah the U.S. should be SO EXCITED about participating in CONCACAF bullshite with the continued, obvious, and ever-present CONCACAF bias against the U.S.!

Woo!

My only question is are we able to use these games to cap-tie players? If so, I'm 100% behind this.

They’re competitive games, so that should be the case.

Why do the shitty Dutch and British colonies get to use their flags but the French ones don’t?

So instead of playing a friendly against a decent UEFA team, we are now forced to play fricking Curacao and Haiti?

Between this league of nations bullshite and the 48 team World Cup, FIFA is really trying to rape my international soccer fandom.

It at least gives us more experience playing at places like Costa Rica, Honduras, etc.

Yeah I thought the Nations League in Europe basically gave some extra chances to smaller countries to qualify for the EURO and WC. It makes sense with there being so many prestigious nations there that sometimes they don’t even qualify.

Here it seems not really beneficial to us or Mexico. But I guess if it grants younger guys a chance and an opportunity to cap-tie it isn’t the end of the world.
