This was the main paragraph about the LSU Basketball team in this Detroit news article. Pisses me off. Dysfunction greater than our Talent. How lame. They do not take us s seriously. Hopefully, a win for LSU will give em a bit of sobering news to write about.

LSU has to play TWO frickING HALVES.
Last two games we have big leads and almost blow it. shite should be ironed out now. You have been exposed to this all year and these lapses should have been fixed. You get exposed to things enough you begin to mentally adjust like anything in life.
Only complaint i have. Play two halves and beat anyone.

Uhm, its not false to call this situation dysfunctional. Its ridiculous how triggered some of you get over the most innocuous bullshite.

This isn't totally unfair, particularly for an in-state paper.
We just have to prove we can overcome the dysfunction. And frankly, I have faith that our guys can, and will.

My X is from Detroit the article means nothing the whole city cannot read. Just a waste of paper they need to worry about crime and the homeless.

I agree 100%. But after watching all of their games, later in the year they seem to jump on their opponents early (especially towards the end of the reg season til now) then after they see they can beat them, they get complacent instead of putting them away. I think it's their youth.
Wade bitched about this in a round about way, too.

I would not mistake adversity for dysfunction. Teams with dysfunction are watching the ncaa tournament from home.
This team has exceeded expectations by all rights. A suspended coach does not mean the whole team is dysfunctional

Heard mixed reviews.
Like most places,
Some parts are nice and others probably not so nice. Been to grand Rapids and fell in love with the place. Have to admit there are probably some really rough patches in Detroit if we're all being honestt
But that's how stereotypes go. Y'all are all homeless and we all ride alligators to work

Have you seen what's going on around the basketball program in the athletic dept.? It is dysfunctional
Luckily, the team has been able to block it out and continue doing what they've done all season, win. Yes, LSU continuously makes it harder on themselves by losing focus and allowing games to be much closer than it appears they should. But against all odds they continue to rise to the occasion.
You hate this team because of their inattention to detail that seems to nearly get them beat every game (which is surprising considering out detail oriented Wade claims to be)
But you love them because they have the stones to make HUGE plays when their backs are against the wall. Most teams would have wilted on Saturday. But LSU, a team who hasn't shot 3's worth a damn all year, buries two (both by Mays) when it seems all is lost.
LSU very well could lose to Michigan St. But I'd be shocked if they don't rise to the occasion. This team has some absolute competitors on it. They make some unbelievably dumb plays, but they compete like hell

But I'm pretty sure that the Advocate isn't talking about playing a school whose administration and athletic department knew that somebody on staff was molesting their gymnasts.
